Hi!! I have been trying to answer this question for some time... Who found the treasure that cursed the Black Pearl first?? I know its crew took it.. but did Jack find it first?? Did Jack find it while he was still captain of the Black Pearl?? Anyone?? Jul 12th, 2006 10:53 AM Hazardous Senior Member Gender: Male Location: They explained it in the first movie, Jack had the location of it when he was captain, and Barbossa wanted it, Jack told him, then he mutinied and left him on the island, then went to get the treasure and they ended up cursed.
