The Joker versus Mr. Fantastic

three scenarios:

1. Batman's out of comission, Reed and a heavily pregnant Sue are taking a tour of the States and stop off in Gotham, only for Reed to have to foil a bankrobbery the moment he gets into the City. turns out the robbers were Joker's goons and so The Joker's got Mr. Fantastic in his sights. the Joker doesn't know anything about Sue or the Fantastic Four and only knows that Reed Richards is some sort of a mutant, having observed the security footage from the bank robbery attempt (seeing Reed stretch and stuff). Reed realises from talking with the police, that he has inadvertantly stepped on the Joker's toes... both face off, with prep and rudimentary knowledge of the other (chiefly the Joker's m.o. and Reed's visible mutations).

2. Joker Comes to New York and sets up an alliance with Doom, Doom double-crosses him right after the pair of them capture the FF. Doom goes off world with some tech that he stole from Reed's lab and plans on siphoning the power out of Galactus again. the Joker and Reed face off, immediately after Doom escapes... just a straight-out fight. no prep.

3. Both Reed and Joker are transported to an alternate dimension, they are then forced to attempt to takeover an alien city (Grod's Gorilla City), using their wits and whatever muscle/tech they can lay their hands on. the loser is eviscerated.

personally, I'm going with The Joker... but can't really tell if he's smarter than Reed or not. his insanity is so great it hides any and all genius he may possess.

Reed wins 3/3. The Joker is crazy, but Reed is crazy smart.

I gotta say Joker on this one because Reed has never faced this level of insanity. Name me one foe that Reed deals with on a regular or even once who can compare to Joker's madness and complete psychotic behaviors? Bats can hardly keep up and its because Bruce is disturbed himself deep inside that he can think on that level. It's like putting Stephen Hawkins against Ted Bundy. I dunno but can't see book smarts winning all the fights or even one

If Reed and the other members of FF can handle the likes of Annihilus, Blastaar, Hate-Monger, etc., he can handle Joker...
