It's just honesty. When people improve we're the first to say something too. But glossing over sub-par work like it has merit wouldn't really be fair to you. So it's not a personal jab when they say this...just honest criticism.
If you post your sigs then you leave them open to critique. You very obviously are very new to Photoshop as you don't even know how to resize an image without distorting it. But just because you're new to this it doesn't mean we're going to cut you a break.
Go read up on some tutorials. Check out the Resource thread. Learn the basics of using Photoshop.
I put a lot of effort into this one. It still isn't one of the best, but I figured I'd post it for something criticism. What could I do to improve this sig if anything is needed to be improven. That kind of feedback I need. Telling me it isn't good doesn't really help all that much.
1) Start out with high quality images. NEVER resize an image larger.
2) Learn to resize an image without distorting it. This is possibly the easiest thing ever to do - right up there with simply creating a new file - and I cannot understand how someone can actually have trouble with it.
all you need to do to resize, is to grab the corner of the render hold shift and resize it how ever you want without distorting it but be sure not to make it too big or too small. it also does not always have to be right in the middle of the sig. oh yeah and dont be afraid to experiment everything PS has to offer i still learn new things about PS everytime i make a sig and i try to put what i learned into the next one i make. thats all
