Two Avatars huh? I say Juggernaut will win just like I would put money on Cyttorak beating Tanaraq... maybe you should have made this battle about the chief deities themselves, Or are they Demonic spirits... whatever. I stand by my decision Juggernaut will utterly defeat him, if this is Cain at his most powerful. Trion is too much, but if we were talking about 8th day, and how he took on Thor and made it look like Hulk vs Cage, this fight is in the bag for Cain.
Wait is this Exiles Tanaraq vs. Juggernaut? [Going by the pics] If so what is Jugz even going to do to him when Zarathos and Kulan Gath (Dr.Strange level being as stated) could do nothing.
and that's Exiles Tanaraq and even wasn't the true power Tanaraq as he was bound by a human host and the previous issue took blasts from Zarathos and Kulan Gath and was unphazed and their vastly above Doom. So errrr?

Yeah...and they were stated to be stronger then their 616 counterpart due to Kulan Gath's spell, which he actually did in the 616 universe as well. Which this Exiles story is based from.

Well we havn't seen really what Exiles Tanaraq could do [Only in 2 issues], but 616 definetly has options as he has complete control over death and decay and can attack a persons body and soul simply by looking at them. Also being a high level magical entity himself also helps
Yeah, I read those Exiles issues, [extremely good, imo].
Anyhow,
Don't get me wrong, Tanaraq is damn impressive overall -- But I saw nothing really, [barring BFR], that would lead me to think he could take the majority over Classic Juggs.
I mean, when many people think of Juggernaut in general, they think of nothing but a brick of a character -- And as I'm sure you know, Classic Juggs was much more.
If were talking strickly Exiles Tanaraq then I completly agree as we didn't see anything that could put Jugz away. However, on the other hand it was shown putting Tanaraq down won't happen if beings more powerful couldn't do it. Hence, why I have been postings feats on defense rather then offense.
Indeed Jugz is, but I don't see him competeting against this kind of power through [616 Tanaraq]
Depends on what character ie. incarnations this is
As normal Sasquatch would stand no chance against Juggernaut, but Tanaraq would destroy Jugz. Cyttorak vs. Tanaraq? No idea as we have seen very little of Tanaraq to really say [Cy has more feats I would say], other then we both know their Elder Gods older then the Earth itself.
I just assumed it was because that's who the pic is of in the opening post.
Yeah, 616 Tanny might change things a bit, but I still haven't seen much that would make me think he can take a solid majority here.
Nice! [OF was surprisingly good].
But even in them there scans, I don't see anything that makes me say, "damn Tanny would pwn classic Juggs." -- Actually I see Juggs easily withstanding the punishment being dealt out in those panels.
I'm not trying to be a douche at all, just giving my personal opinion.
Wasn't sure myself as that's why I asked as the title of the thread says Sasquatch not Tanaraq
Wow, and what would Jugz even do to 616 Tanaraq?
....Errrr? You do know that wasn't an attack right? But a power boost for the Crew who in the next issue were bragging they could destroy the planet with ease. So how does that show him easily withstanding the punishment dealt out when Tanaraq didn't attack?
I just think of the Godblast doing little more then slowing Juggernaut's forward momentum.
I personally just haven't seen any Tanny feats that make me think he would down Juggs, yet.
Hmm.
You said:
"Indeed Jugz is, but I don't see him competeting against this kind of power through [616 Tanaraq]"
I replied with:
"But even in them there scans, I don't see anything that makes me say, "damn Tanny would pwn classic Juggs." -- Actually I see Juggs easily withstanding the punishment being dealt out in those panels."
As I shown earlier a weak Tanaraq [Pre 30 minute time limit] actually hurt Talisman simply by looking at her. She is considered a god of magic and can cancel and absorb any form of magic no matter who it is. Who says he even has to defeat him physically when he can simply attack his soul or attack his mind.
Still don't see how as it wasn't an attack, it was show his power making 4 Beta Ray Bill level hearlds with ease. It was a way to illustrate what could Jugz even do to Tanaraq? He is an Elder God after all and the personification of death on Earth when it was first commencing alive. Even Oeming sure made it seem like Tanaraq = Surtur [Still wondering why he has Surtur's army now]
In all fairness, did we ever see Exiles Tanaraq REALLY fight someone? He seemed to be wading through attacks and somehow attacks from minor characters seemed to annoy him more than attacks from insanely strong magicians.
Is this is a sign of magic resistance maybe? Perhaps he could do something with Juggernaut's forcefield?
