technically speaking, SFA bison should be unstoppable. he has infinite power, unlimited stamina, teleportation, levitation, projectiles and almost every other imaginable power you can think of. its just that he was sooooooooooooooooooooo badly written that there almost no way of thinking of him as a badass anymore. seriously, if 13 lowtiers girls could overwhelm him SHIN akuma will throw him over his knee and messatsu-spank him to hell.
A shame they are ALL metahumans, much like your claims for Terry vs Grant feats you've been using.
And granted, Bison had all those things, but BECAUSE the Dolls where freed from his control, and where struggling with him over control over the Drives, his power was running wild, you know, much like Rugal's was... This was stated in Cammy, Juli and Juni's endings... along with Vega's... He had all the things you mentioned, but his rapidly deteriorating body (Stated at the start of Bison's game) along with his diminishing control over the Drive was killing him from the inside out, he was already overloading badly when he got beaten by the 4some of Ryu Sakura Ken and Sagat...
Though admittedly, SFA3 was the worst written SFer ever short of the EX series...
they aren't meta when nothing about them is stated. on top of that we don't even know if they got power upgrades from bison and if they did, how much. for Grant it clearly states that his heart overworks itself and because of that the bloodsupply to his body has resulted in inhuman power, reflexes and motor coordination. THAT is the difference, Darko.
bison was never overloading when he was fighting ryu and co. the overloading only occured once the drives got destroyed and that lead to him going "poof". as for the dolls, bison was AFRAID that they'd go after his drives with cammy and that's why he confronted them to begin with. they weren't after his drives. he just thought they were.
Tie...maybe. Akuma and Bison have good feats but Akuma has more, WAAAYYY more but I think Bison has a load of effecient special powers to make up for the fact that Akuma is like the "Humanoid Typhoon".
IMO, if it's Bison with just the drive he will lose after what I think is a good fight. Now if Bison has Ryu in the drive it would be a tie or a lean towards Bison. I mean Bison could fly outta range and vape cities...unless we count the feat of Shin Akuma jumping to outter space. If you think about it, we have never seen Akuma at full power.
