He had the potential to become more powerful than anyone ever had before him according to some source IIRC. Obviously Kyp came after he did, but that would still include the likes of Bane and Nihilus.

Of course. I would put Galen above Kyp as far as the basics go (TK, etc), but Kyp probably knows more complicated techniques (the black-hole-expanding-thing).
