Looked on the searches, as well as advanced and did not find this games actual thread.

A fairly unique mix of genres combined with the famous Warcraft 3 mod DoTA (defence of the ancients). 8 unique heroes to choose from with various play styles and certain classes in 8 unique and incredibly detailed and imaginative maps. These guys battle it out to become a full God in a variety of modes. The game is for PC, I dont think its out on consoles.
Let's say that this game has potential. As it is right now, it could be better. The maps are anything but imaginative, there's barely any terrain to speak of or anything like that. The maps are almost blank in comparison to DotA.
The graphics are very good, yes, but demigods, especially the melee ones, feel unresponsive and sometimes right out ignore commands.
As it is right now, the game feels like it's in need of a good expansion pack.

Graphics look incredible but the gameplay sounds like it would get real boring real fast. I'm not a fan of deathmatches and it sounds like all of the content in this game revolves around deathmatches.

As a big fan of War3/DotA, this game looks friggin awsome... but I'm kinda nervous about buying it when I've heard so much about the screwy connections. Is it a major problem or just a minor inconvenience?
Well, I've been testing all the demigods and haven't yet really developed any substantial tactics with any particular one. I like going for Snipe and Mines with Regulus, though. Good for killing towers, creeps and other demigods.

hm any thoughts on Oak and Torchbearer from your Regulus perspective? anything you dont like about facing them? anything you wish Regulus could do that they can?
I am an Oak/Torchbearer player, enjoying the very high damage AOE powers of Torchbearer (I play mostly fire form) and his ridiculously high damage and range of Fireball, often gets me a lot of Demigod kills (so far I only play vs A.I) and the Oak just seems to be an unstoppable machine, his uses of invulnerability shields, large amounts of minions and constant healing powers AND a fairly decent AOE and single Demigod weakener make him fun to play and give him variety.
Personally I find regulus a bit slow and although he has the advantage of being one of the long range characters, if not the only one who can fire while on the move he does not have as much in the way of AOE but indeed, his snipe and mines are powerful, especially the former.
