A boy from the suburbs of Onett, Ness' next-door neighbor.
Porky's family seems to hold a grudge on Ness, because his father, Aloysius Minch, allegedly loaned a few hundred thousand dollars to Ness' father (though Aloysius admits it could have been a lot less), and was never repaid.
Since then, Aloysius would take his anger out on his children, Porky and Picky, because of his frustration over Ness' father's loan.
At some time, Porky joins the Happy Happyist cult, and becomes a high priest.
After the cult is disbanded, he and his father end up working as business consultants for Fourside mayor Geldegarde Monotoli. He uses the money to live a luxurious life, but he selfishly steals Monotoli's helicopter after Monotoli is confronted by Ness, leaving his father behind.
Porky is not seen until he appears with Giygas, looking discolored from side-effects of time travelling, where he claims that Giygas was leading him the whole time, and that he only serves "the strong and able."
He expresses to Ness his new belief that Giygas should destroy the universe. He appears in an organic spider-like machine, and battles Ness and his friends (in their robotic forms) alongside Giygas. Once Giygas is destroyed, Pokey uses time travel to escape into another era, but not before taunting Ness one last time. His last message comes through Picky in a suspicious hate letter that says, "Come and get me, loser! Spankety spankety spankety!"
Pokey returns in Mother 3 as King P, having become trapped in the current time period and drastically aged due to his abuse of time travel (he himself admits he could be around 1,000 years old or more, but doesn't know anymore) but still mentally immature, to the extent that he sanctions unspeakable experiments on animals just to make them "look cool" and completely corrupting the Nowhere Islands out of sheer boredom. He is revealed to be the true antagonist of Mother 3.

Responsible for the death of Hinawa, Lucas and Claus' mother and Flint's wife..
Coupled by the loss of Claus, Flint has never been the same since then, and the role of protagonist is passed down to his son, Lucas..
Responsible for brainwashing Claus, Lucas' long-lost twin brother..

It's the same how Tetsuo was just some biker punk who became a psionic powerhouse of cosmic proportions or how a human like Birkin ended up being a pile of crap with the head of Arius Argosax.
