Vertigo. I don't think they'd be close, either.

ST vs AM and Dream vs Imperiex would be awesome to see!! I think the other matches are pretty much a stomp in Vertigo's favor.

Vertigo unless Imperiex Prime is really God which is somewhat OWAW pointed to. OWAW was talked about a long time ago (before the Crisis) and showed Superman as being the angel of death made for the purpose of stopping Brainiac 13 in his war against the Creator/Imperiex Prime.

eek!

Or course we then have info saying he's as old as The Guardians (10 billions years old), and we know the angels and the other Vertigo beings are suppose to be much older then the Oans.

A-M can't really hurt ST but ST can't hurt him either unless it's God ST, so tie.

IIRC some writer stated that Nekron was more powerful than the Endless.

Michael beats Parallax

Dream beats Imperiex

Total score: 2 1/2 - 1 1/2, Vertigo wins

But i also read Nekron was one aspect of death with Death as another (if that made ANY sense at all lol)

Yes, I agree with that too, so it's possible they wouldn't even be able to fight

That instance of Nekron and Death being shown as just being aspects of Death really pissed Gaiman off. IIRC, it was in an issue of Captain Atom, and also showed the Black Racer as an aspect of Death itself. Death of the Endless is, according to DCU/Vertigo canon, the real deal, so she'd best Nekron.

yea i heard he was pretty annoyed by that claim lol. My personal favorite is Death. Something about her lack of involvement make her seem like she's on another level...above BR and Nekron.

do u guys think Dream would best Imperiex? i genuinely think that's a pretty cool matchup.

OMG I'd love to see this. DC needs to do it! But why isn't Spectre in this??

Vertigo for the win. Agreed ST and AM probably a stalemate. Hard to judge that one though.

The idea that Death is the real deal was pretty much implied in her appearance in AC after Blackest Night, where she's pretty nonchalent about the whole thing...
