I read the book, and frankly, it seems like the earlier NJO books; there to move along the story line. The test of a good book to me is if you want to go back and read it someday, even if it's out of order. the Edge of Victory books did this quite well, as did Star by Star in the NJO series.

you read it already? it only came out today. Oh, and dont forget "Traitor", by far the best NJO book to date, by my humble opinion.
