Republicans Suspend Partnership With NBC News

The GOP has suspended partnership with NBC News for February debate. Of course, this is a direct result of them being angry that the liberal moderators during Republican debate few nights ago asked unfair questions designed to either make candidates attack each other or make them look stupid. Which backfired miserably, of course. Only ones who ended up looking stupid were the mods. Anyway, here's the AOL article pertaining to GOP suspending their partnership with NBC:

Good riddance, and about time, they should have suspended after the first CNN debate. Funny how Hilary and Bernie won't let fox moderators quiz them on national TV.

You think GOP debates should only be moderated by Fox News? I remember, even then the reaction by the candidate was that the moderators were unfair to them.

No, that's not the way I remember it. During first debate they only went after Trump and it was only Megan Kelly who did so. Get your facts straight.

I think a more fair question would be do you think democratic debates should only be handled by stations that are left-leaning biased while at same time Republicans have to get moderated by liberals? I don't know what kind of world you live in where you can call that fair.

The candidates bitched and moaned about unfair questions when Fox was running the show.

The poor GOP. Why won't anyone just buy into the candidates' crazy meme ideas without wasting everyone's time with little things like fact-checking and requests for elaboration.

The Republican party can choose whoever they want to moderate the debate. I think CNBC has shown itself to be inept, so I agree with the decision to pull future debates from their station.

However, I think your accusation isn't really true,

The democratic debates are on CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS, Univision.

The Republican debates are on Fox (4), CNN (3), CNBC, ABC and CBS

I mean, disregarding that conservatives were unhappy with the FOX News debate as well, what do you think should happen? Should all Republican debates be on Fox News?

Because I think the Republicans, wisely, in order to extend their reach, have the debates on different networks.

roll eyes (sarcastic)

*facepalm*

Only Trump complained about first debate and his complaints were justified, moron. It was Megan Kelly and only Megan Kelly that went after him, idiot. You're just as ****ing stupid as those liberal moderators who got embarassed other night aren't ya? STill butthurt that the Republicans trashed your retarded liberal mods, loser? Quit throwing a crybaby temper tantrum over it, jack***. Everyone knows the mods were out of line. You'll eventually get over the fact that the bias of the left-wing has been exposed. Quit crying about it you poor poor baby.

They should have cut their relationship with NBC... after their debate with CNN? Which is unrelated to NBC?

Note that the Republicans never went with MSNBC, the closest equivalent to Fox.

Well, to begin with, CNN doesn't have a left-leaning bias, not like Fox does, it's pretty centrist. Note that the CNN Republican debate also had less complaints about unfair attacking than the Fox debate did, which had Trump complaining heavily afterwards, so you focusing on CNN is kinda re-writing history. Sure, that was only Trump, but that's still more than the CNN one got- why exactly are you going after the least controversial moderation of all the debates again?

That said, there is a solid argument that one should have both friendly moderators, i.e. Fox, MSNBC, who'll let the candidates get their platforms out there, as well as ones that are not in your corner and more interested in grilling your people and answering hardball questions, to show how your people can handle both situations.

Now, CNBC's people were pretty poor at their job, but the problem wasn't asking hard-hitting questions, which would've been fine, but rather asking crappy questions (like the Trump comic book one. Really? How is someone supposed to respond to that? Or the 'what's your biggest weakness' one, because job interviews stopped doing that because it *sucks*), "Why don't you hit that other candidate for us?" and such.

A good non-cuddly question is, "Your tax plan say blah blah blah. How do you respond to people who say that'll place an undo burdon on the blah?". Heck, the questions to Carson about his speeches for that miracle cure medical company were good. Like how in the Democratic CNN debate, Sanders was asked how could a socialist get elected- that's a tough question, they weren't softballing him. That's what you want from a non-friendly but non-crap moderate.

It's not, "Are you running a comic book campaign?". That's just crap question selection. "What's your biggest weakness?" is not only a traditionally crap question, but they used it for the *opening*.

Btw, I'll note one of the people asking questions was Jim Cramer, who was famously ripped apart by Jon Stewart on the Daily Show. You keep phrasing it as if 'the left' was out to get them or that all non-fox media is like this, when really, nah, the CNBC people are just considered crap all around by news station standards and thought they could cause fights for ratings.

They're so bad at their job that they were messing up getting the candidates to fight for ratings.

Not just Megyn Kelly, also Chris Wallace.

Watching these two try and catch CNN in the net of blame despite CNN having done a more Republican-friendly job than Fox and being unrelated to CNBC is fascinating.

What you expect from a die-hard Hillary supporter who looks the other way at all the criminal things she's done? She's just following the example of her socialist "savior" Hilldog who lies with every word that comes out of her mouth.

Like I said before, Hilary and Obama could murder these peoples parents and they would find and excuse for them. They don't break ranks.

Yeah, and then they would try to shift the blame onto Republicans for their deaths. LOL.
