To take down a Skeletor who was amped off the eyes of Castle Grayskull, one which gives total control of time, the other of space. The Power chose Adam as their champion against uber Skeletor's wrecking the multiverse, all decked out in cosmic golden armor and a golden sword, capable of resisting attempts to unmake him, and cut right through cosmic Skull head.
