John "Pops" Witherspoon (born John Weatherspoon; January 27, 1942 – October 29, 2019)

I was on YouTube watching a video when I saw the small headline.

Damn that man made me laugh, from Boomerang opposite Eddie Murphy, to Friday, to the Wayans Brothers, and my all time favorite, as grandad from the Boondocks.

He shall be missed.
