Did Quinlan Vos and Darth Maul ever cross paths and duel?

Just thought I will ask did they ever duel or cross paths in canon ? I read in some forum site they met during CW just sort of after Vos defeated Dooku etc but not sure how accurate that is ?

There was a Clone Wars storyboard that showed them fighting, but no story was ever adapted from it.

If i remember well, Maul’s voice actor said that Vos was the one supposed to fight and capture Maul in TCW S7, but in the end they picked Ahsoka for the job sad
