wow that would be a cool fight  Well the Phoenix is very powerful but if Storm gets pissed watch out! I'd have to vote for Storm because well  My fave!

i dont think Storm can actually destroy the planet. She can cause a lot of damage to it, but not enough to blow it up. All phoenix needs to do is to bring storm to the Sun and she'll burn Storm to death.

No Phoenix isn't fire, just surrounded by a huge fire bird or something.
But in a fight Stormy would definitely win. I mean in one issue Marvel wanted to do, Stormy single-handedly moved the Earth. And I mean that in ever sense of the word...or words. 
But Stormy would definitely kick @$$!! And like someone said [although I am using their words against them...sorry] Phoenix is crazed, therefore she ain't thinking to clearly.
