I kind of think that there shouldn't be a re-make because the original is such a classic, sweet film but after watching Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow i could definately see him as Will Wonka, he'd be amazing! As long as they use JD i'll love it. I can't really think of another actor who could pull off Willy Wonka as well as the original.

as i said before, roal dahl [if thats how u spell it] hated the original, so he is totally supporting the remake! i think the classic was good but its old now and i dont really like gene wilder. i think the remake will be great! especially if johnny stars as wonka.

im kind of excited to see how crazy the movie will be. i think it probably will have a lot of differences from the origional, so im curious as to how fun they will make it. i love weird movies like that. the part of willy wonka is kind of similar to the part of sam in benny and joon, so maybe we will get to see a bit of sam in johny when he plays willy wonka! not too shabby!
when i first heard that johnny was gonnna do the part i got a little nervous because i wasnt sure if he would be right for the part, but im totally confident now. i think it will be awesome.

I can remember singing "I want it now" for ages after i watched Charlie and the Chocoalte Factory for the first time! I must've been 6 or somthing, maybe even younger, it drove my mum and dad bonkers!!! I loved all the original characters although i also think that i could be a much better brat than Veruca!
