I hate to say it, but the video for Nickelback's "Someday" is pretty sad, and the song is great (and depressing...depending on your mood)

I think when people try to tell you a song is depressing they do it by saying the lyrics are so sad and moving; but sometimes I think there has to be more for a ultimately depressing song...the sound of the vocalist the crying out..... if anybodys ever heard of a band called pictures; well on their album 'exposure' theres a track called loneliness

you can try some pantera songs allthough they seem to be a bit heavy for your taste
korns first record "self titteld" that album is depressing and sick its different from there latest records and i mean different " lyricaly and musically" songs like daddy are hard to chew
dredg "is not everything" this song has some deperssing lyrics
Tool has some well writen deperessing lyrics try the songs
