Dude, trust me, travelling on a train for a long distance will be the most relaxing experience of your time. You have more room than in a plane, you can actually sleep, read etc. without being disturbed. At least over here.

Probably depends on when you go and how far. But typically, I think it's more because, like you said, more room.
