well, as a tech guy, much like you, i like to do my research on tech, but i never really did any on blackberry phone. so i honestly had nothing to base any opinions off of, other than that rich people used them.
so my assumption was that they are pretty, and useless. cause thats what rich people like.
but once i did some lookings into it, i found they arent that bad, and using one for a day and a half added to that, so out of the phones ive used, which isnt a lot, it still has the best feel for me.

That's good, I would like to try out a Storm 2 or a Torch sometime, my experience with Blackberries is mainly the Curve, which just seems dated and useless to me. Do they still demand the extra Black Berry contract for the touch devices, btw?
I think ultimately I'm really an Android guy. But I am glad there are so many different decent OSs out there, and I would definitely like to try out some more. My Android is kinda dated, still the G1, the hardware has move on so far since then. I do also have a Samsung Omnia 7 though, which I actually quite like, Windows Phone 7 is not a bad platform. The problem is just the apps, which are so much less compared to iOS and Android. I think that's even worse with Blackberry, but if you don't care so much about that, I don't think it matters.
well, my contract is with my company, i dont think there is an extra contract for owning it. but the torch is pretty pimp, i do suggest trying it.
i really wouldnt know too much about the os's, cause i havent messed around tooo much with different phones, mostly the iphones, the first galaxy, the torch/touch(as i keep calling it, for some reason) and some old nokia's.
