Roan, something suddenly strikes you about looking for a power source. There IS power! Else how would that alarm operate?
Nothing in the control area works, Xeth. It has been throughly sabotaged. If only you knew a little more about electronics and stuff you might be able to get a clue from all this but really, you are more a weapons specialist...
The swarm continues to pour in- outside it is endless, the sky black with their seemingly infinite numbers. They now cover half the hangar bay, and you will have to move fast if you want to move around there.
You are beginning to see what the problem with colonisation was...

Xeth can fix stuff, he's one of your more skilled characters, but to do something useful from the sabotaged control room is a little beyond what he has learned to do.

No, so there is not shield generator. Nor is there toime to load the fuel, even if you had not sensed something wrong with the fuel, Marcus, as you did.
Jedi reflexes are accounting for a lot of time not moving right now but I will need a move soon.

Well, there are two ways you can appraoch this.
First of all, you can try and logically work out how these things are defeated
Secondly, you can just go on the idea that there must be a defence somewhere, and you can worry about what it is when you find it, so first find it!
The second is more haphazard but faster. The first requires more thought but does mean you will know exactly what do do when you find the right place.
