(Makes sounds like a Martian from “Mars Attacks”).
Come on. YOU can do a lot better than that.

I do not "have" you right or wrong. DV. You're clever, and probably older than the average forumite here. That gives you an edge to a more befuddled Matrix-fan without your vocabulary... And that is all I watch.

Ok meta you wanted it you got it:

http://www.killermovies.com/m/thema...icles/3302.html

DUDE THERE IT IS IN BLACK AND WHITE....what does it take for you to see it?.

Not even was that rumor - that didn't even have any fact in it! Come talk to me when you've got something that can be backed up. And yes I'm on the forum - I've not read any of the articles here - and I've been working a lot with my end of the industry. There's been a small production in town and I've been doing the still photo's. Doesn't leave much time to argue with someone who has to use misquotes, facts out of context, and rumors to support themselves..a house of cards built on sand if I ever saw one.

If you want to compare how well Revo is doing, just look at Reloaded's numbers! After 17 days Reloaded fell to the number four spot, Revo is in number 6 - after 23 days Reloaded fell to 5 and after 30 fell to 8. Finding Nemo took the Number one spot from Reloaded, just as Elf and Cat in the Hat have been in number one over Revo.

Not to mention Reloaded "lost big" over sees check it out:
http://www.the-numbers.com/interact....php?newsID=277

Hey meta I did notice something in all your babble though an expected 200 million was it?. Well let's see even if i give M:revo the benefit of doubt and say...what the hell it will make a steady 5 mill for the remainder of it's run....well hey you seem smart enough so do the math. There is no way revo will be in the theatres for that much longer....15 weeks pfft please you will be watching it at home within fifteen weeks.

day 17:
11/21/2003 6 $1,900,000 +104.74% 3,024 $628 $120,300,000 17

Only 80 Mill to go. They'll probably have that before Christmas, and still be in the theaters through early January atleast.

quote:
IF revo is out before christmas it is solid proof that the movie did not meet alot of ppl's expectation's and that we ARE NOT the minority. IF revo is packaged in a set with the other two movies is is SOLID proof that the movie WILL not do well on it's own and that all they care about is your money.

Actually their plan was always to release a box set, and, humoring you, how exactly does releasing it early prove that they care about is our money? As opposed to doing good with their project and not loosing money? I don't care when it's release, tomorrow or six years from now, I still plan on buying it - and I think anyone else who likes it feels the same.

quote:
Meta do not PM me I can find you're useless post on my own,

I'm surprised - you seem to have trouble finding anything else....Now back off because this is boring me..

Omega that's all there is for now and anyone making money through the industry is not going to go on record and say anything bad about it.

Well I mean c'mon if I were in that guys shoes I would remain anonymous as well. If my business revolved around movies I would not badmouth the ppl who help me make money and then go on record.

Honestly beyond all the sillyness I think you are extremely intelligent (yeah, yeah take it while you can...hehehe) I just think we have two different point of views on something we feel strong about does'nt mean we cant get along right?.

**oh whoops I have to edit this cuz apparently something else was added and I did'nt get to post right after omega**

Im sorry meta were you saying something because I was bored from the get-go. Happy Dance muahahahaha!

He was quoting the link that he posted to here on KMC, I read it - there was nothing substancial or of any substance. Almost looked like someone who disliked the movies just trying to spread rumor and disappoint others - kinda like DV? Hmmmm...

And he can be cleaver - if you're a nimrod who can't tell the difference between opinions and fact, or sort through over elaborated propoganda and vocab. But it gets old quick and he constantly repeats himself when you sort it all out! So you hit it pretty head on Omega.. smile Ofcourse you have a good habbit for that..

Agreed we have different points of view - but I do have to say that my relation with the industry is not that where I cannot bad mouth something. I do all the time - because my portion of the industry is only to photograph people - I'm hired as a contractor.

So trust that my relation does not pollute my judgement. smile

I think its important to note that in any "game" and Merv calls it or how the matrix is no different than that of a coomputer system some rules can be bent others broken.. so im any game u WE play.. u can always cut corners with codes... no clipping anyone? but u still have to play by the rules the game its self is built on.. neo still having a human brain probably still subject to like maybe now..40% of his brain not 100% and we naturally use 10% so.. realistically he couldnt just send bullets back.. in no game is there a bounce back code but always a diffuse.. or a way to become intaingible.. so lets not lose sight here no matter what is going on it is still a game and in order to finish using no clipping or not u have to land on that EXit spot and press the botton like in Doom hehe

Good Lord, what a remarkably dull argument...

Ok, here's the news

1. Revolutions is doing well but not as well as Reloaded- no surprise to me. That it has a high percentage drop-off from the first week is not surprising as it had a record breaking first week.

2. The link Darkvirus posted as part of his argument talking of an early DVD release seems to have been a false rumour so that can be ignored

3. The site and these forums are run by different personnel so please do not expect crossover

4. Darkvirus, your most recent post here was trolling- it had no purpose other than to antagonise Meta. Do not bore me by entering into discourse about it, just consider that a warning and stop

5. Keep this on topic or it closes. Continuation of this argument serves little purpose.

That is all, thankyou.

Never did I intend any humor - and stale delivery is due to a stale arguement and a antagonistic approach. And, your last post did repeat itself. Either way - at risk of repeating myself for you - I'm done with it.

Ushgarak

I agree - nothing more can be argued on that anymore. Especially when one's arguements are based on rumor and opinion. I am done with it. I just have a habit of being drawn into arguement. stick out tongue Especially when it was just another means to disappoint others. The only thing that I enjoyed about it was what weak facts and sources he gave... Oh well...

DV> Why, oh, why do you keep insisting I have “something against you”, and that we “do not get along”? My liking you or not has nothing to do with the arguments I present, and the reasons I’m telling you NOT to antagonise other forumites.
Understand this: Disliking Revolutions does not make you my enemy. Liking it does not make you my friend.
ALL that matters is the way arguments are presented AND – because I AM the moderator – how they are presented. If you feel antagonised feel free to contact another Moderator. Such as Ushgarak, who’re one of the über-mods here.

So back to the title: “Holes in the Matrix movies.”
However, I’m wondering if it will go anywhere. The fans see open questions, the “anti-fans” see holes.

Well I have said it so many times and I think the end of the Trilogy made it very clear as well (as did the 1st but in a more subtle way):

It's up to you to believe whatever you want to believe. It is your choice to do so.

Also, Omega, DV knows I am chock full of sarcasm as I thought you would by now big grin And not only that, the fans, anti-fans thing you said is the truth and fits perfectly with what I just typed big grin

And im the only one that deserves a warning.... wink

I sit back and read these latest post...and something about this does not sit right with me, anti-fan. Is that what you would call somone who watched The matrix and reloaded more times than I thought humanly possible. Is that what you would call someone who has the whole series one and two (minus the mifune APU) macfarlane figures, movie posters, twins poster, and the animatrix.

Look if you dont agree with me that revo's fell short then that's fine but, do not label me an anti-fan because of that. Im just a big a fan as anyone else...I was just let down by the last movie. Jee I wonder if the ppl at the holloween party I went to thought I was an anti-fan when i was dressed up as neo cool .

I must have missed something, because I do not see anti-fan in any of my recent posts?! Hmmm.... Sifer and Omega did post a comment about that. Yes...I do believe that it was not me.

I mearly commented on a what I see as a weak arguement based on opinion and not fact - or facts taken out of context. Honestly, I could care less how many times you've seen the first two, or what toys you own. I'm not a collector, unless you count the 3.8 terrabytes of networked drives with a combine processing power of over 10 Ghz, including one dual processor machine running two 2.2 Ghz cpu's. If you remember Neo's desk in the very beginning of M1, that's where I live and work most of the time.

I don't have time for ceramic busts or action figures - and my walls look pretty good without posters. Do I really need those things to be a fan? Gee, why wasn't I clued in?! Ever hear the phrase "You can see the stars and still not see the light?" Psych 101 would tell you that those things just show that you're only trying to fill a need with material. I'm not one to judge, so you can decide if that fits. Personally, I'm happy with my guitar, my business, my woman, and my motorcycle - the rest is just philosophy and theology.

I didn't lable you anything, except maybe arguementitive, arrogent, overly aggressive and antagonistic, perhaps even terretorial, a bit ignorant, and immature. I don't see anything flattering or "cool" about most of those qualities. So, as nicely as I can ask, if you didn't like the movie - fine - but let those who did freely express it without antagonistic retrobution, those who may not have seen it - for what ever reason - make up their own minds without being polluted with negative influence, and those who have questions decide what they want to accept as an answer when there are very credible explinations to so called "holes" and the influence of surrealism. It was kind of fun to debate for about the first few seconds, but I've really grown weary of it. It's kicking the dead horse now - it's not going to go anywhere. Putting words in my mouth, misquoting me, and/or antagonizing me just needs to stop. I've agreed to disagree, have you?

For the record - I do not believe that this thread can go any farther and has swayed off topic enough, delving into childishness and arguements for the sake of antagonizing others (or even just for the sake of argueing), to warrant that this thread be closed.

Omega or Ushgarak, or any other mod for that matter, care to do the honors?
