Kamino and Geonosis

What do you guys think about these two new planets we will see in Episode 2?

Kamino will be a water planet, and Geonosis will be the rocky planet......NOT Malastare. Geonosis is heavily rumored as being the planet in the Select 25 photo. Notice the apparent rings around the planet, cool stuff.

What do you think these planets will mean to Episode 2?

As far as I know Kamino is the clone planet (which Dooku rules over) while Geonosis is where the Battle Droids are developed (by the Lessers who obviously have something to do with Dooku hence the arena scenes)

Wow, there's a lot of news I need to catch up on. I didn't even know most of the stuff you guys just mentioned!
One thing I've been wondering about is the rain-battle between Obi-Wan and Jango. Has it been mentioned which planet it might take place on?
(Soz if this might be considered coming off topic, I just thought it would be better to mention it here rather than creating an entire topic for it)

I thought the fight between Obi-Wan and Jango takes places on Coruscant.

That's what I suspected, but as Coruscant doesn't have any lakes or seas then I didn't really think it would get any rain. The people of Coruscant get their water supply from the ice caps at the poles of the planet.

Yes but if you remember a while back LFL released some photos in one of the Insiders that showed Coruscant extras on a street type set..and there was alot of mist...which means that there could be alot of rain..I think the rain scene happens in the lower levels of Coruscant.

Ambient moisture and all that. I think in the lower depths of the cities rain will form but I also think that the battle will not take place on Coruscant, right under the noses of the Senate and Jedi Council.

Spoilers.....maybe, not real sure

I think that the fight takes place on Kamino. I read on the force.net that Kamino is where the cloning tanks are and Obi-Wan is there and recognizes Jango as the murderer of Zam Wessell with the Kyber Dart. And Kamino is a water planet where it always rains and the cities are built on big pillars or something. Did anyone else see this?

I thought there was a spy report that said that OB1 and Anakin chased Zam though the streets of Coruscant...and then Jango kills Zam. I thought that was when the fight between Jango and OB1 takes place..

Thats what I thought at first, but why wouldn't Anakin help his master in the fight? and from what I've heard about the fight, there doesn't seem to be anything around except Slave I, and on Coruscant there should be people everywhere.

in fact it has already even said, just thought I'd confirm.

The Obi Jango battle does NOT happen on Coruscant.
It does happen on Kamino.
