if they are serious, then why does the movie seem so ridiculous and comical then?

I have far too many movies I'm excited for these days. But I'll try to narrow this year's list to 10 or less:

- Team America
- The Grudge
- Sky Captain
- Blade
- National Treasure
- Finding Neverland
- Lemony Snicket
- Ocean's Twelve

Saw the trailer of Alexander, and I think its going to suck. So I'm marking that off my list. They are doing it all wrong. Plus Alexander is not geek, nor were they fighting for freedom. He was trying to take over the world. So I think its going to be like Troy. Which means it will suck.

Just saw Ladder 49 and was really surprised. I haven't decided if I loved it or hated it yet.
Looking forward to Ocean's 12, National Treasure, Meet the Fockers, and Closer.

That's a pretty tall order to fill, gimme a sec

Ray

Flight of the Phoenix
A remake of the 1961 original that starred Jimmy Stewart, the story is about a group of men stranded in the Sahara Desert after their plane crashes. Starring Dennis Quaid, Jacob Vargas, Giovanni Ribisi

White Noise
A man (Michael Keaton) is contacted by his murdered wife via EVP, a phenomenon where people hear voices through radio and television broadcasts. (Thriller/Mystery/Drama)

A Sound of Thunder
Ray Bradbury's short story by the same name describes what happens when a game hunter (Edward Burns) travels through time to go on a dinosaur-hunting safari in the prehistoric era.
