no, not the christian god at least!! reading the bible now to find more weird and kinda sickening parts, but it all comes down to that were sinners and the only priority for us should be to worship god!!!!! (kind of like a little child who doesn't get enough attention!)
I am a christian person and i belive that God did created us. I dont have any expertise but my faith keeps me beliving that there is a God in heavens. i also respect the views of those that dont believe in God. Just as long as they respect my views and faith.

god is a concept created by those whose hearts and minds were weak...to explain away the pain and misery and sorrow one experiences through life...a contented person thinks less of god than one who is not...
I was talking to somebody (I think Aini) about this in a Marilyn Manson thread in the music forum... Somebody brought up how he's a Satanist, and somebody else pointed out that Satanism isn't really as bad as people think. Anyways, I was just thinking about the idea that we all worship the same god. (with the exception of atheists) Think about it--like Muslims for example, they pray to Allah, but Allah is really the same thing as the Christian God. Some religions have multiple gods, but it really amounts to the same thing as a single god. You could even go as far as to say that Satan and God are the same thing (once again, somebody else thought of this)... If God is "perfect" in every way, wouldn't he/she/it also have to encompass evil? Sounds weird, I know, but it's an interesting concept.

By “real” Satanist I mean someone who decides to worship evil. Not the “hip” evil in the way of committing adultery or some such, or having a lot of sex, or do some illegal drugs or generally do some teen-agy rebelling against the established.
The Gothic “version” of Satanism is simply – as far as I can tell – is simply worshipping something other than what many hypocrites do.
As far as to whether or not Satan is a God. Well… technically speaking he is also Luficer, which is an angel, right? So he was created by God.
In Eastern philosophy you have the Yin/Yang symbol to show that we need balance. We cannot get rid of “evil” feelings by pretending they do not exist, for example, we must accept that we are both good AND evil at the same time.

Supposedly there are quite a few different religions that call themselves that. However, I know that Marilyn Manson is some kind of religious official in one of them.
