oh yeah like in the online thing...but really the movies should have really brought out all they were capable of, especially persephone, who seems to show off nothing but her ************...know what i mean?

"We know fans of the franchise are extremely dedicated and loyal and we intend to do everything we can to remain true to The Matrix, while providing them with the ultimate online gaming experience," said Jason Hall, CEO of Monolith.

I've heard this line for many of the tried and failed 'ride the license' attempts. This only further proves my speculation...

and also the musical score in revolutions is more powerful than in the previous movies, specially the end score, which was more like a gregorian chant thing, unlike the rock tunes of the first two...

I loved the score for the 3rd one.

The part where trinity was dying, someone in the theatre yelled "DIE ALREADY!!" then someone made a fart noise... so I really couldnt hear what she was saying cuz everyone was like BOOOOOOOOO (more than 100 people, a loews IMAX in new york)

OK so i havent read everything in this thread cus reading the same reply each time is killing my eyes so i'm just going to post a dew answers to some common questions and if they have been answered I'm very sorry. stick out tongue

OK neo died cus smith died. neo and smith became almost one anomoly. In previous versions 'the one' didnt kill smith so the anomoly didnt have a chance to try and balance itself with the smith program which is what the oracle said happened in this version. Smith can fly cus neo can. He has the powers that neo has becuase they have become two personalities of the same program. Both neo and smith have the powers of the oracle just not as strong. The matrix changed the way it looked after smith copied himself onto sati who has the ability to change the way the matrix looks (I have no idea why it would seem that is one of two questions left unanswered the second being seraph).

Oh and the action sequences are irrelevant all they are is a metaphor for hacking so just enjoy the prettiness. There was one part of the super burly brawl that was amazing and that was when smith and neo were in the building and they just did kung fu no flying. The camera angle kept changing. at one point they were silohettes. It was beautifil and then it got shit but thats just my impression.

This one was a lot easier to understand than the last one and thats because it was about the most simple thing of all: Death. That was the theme of this movie. Death followed by the possibility of reincarnation. no doubt I'll get shouted at for what I've said but all i have said is the in your face obvious things that most people just did't seem to get.

I just saw it.... and boy my mind is pretty controversial now. One side of me loves it to death, while the other side wonders "why?" I don't have much time to write now, but eventually I'm going to write one long review of the movie. I'm in no way saying it's bad, I'm a really big fan, and I liked it, but they could have done a bit more to make it "non-fan" friendly. My dad and three friends were with me, and we were in the car, and we were talking about it, and how it didn't make sense, and then my dad chimed in and said "that was shit poor"... and everyone kept going on and on about how it didn't work, how it didn't make any sense. I guess it's just a movie that you have to think about, a movie that you need to understand and see again and again. The Zion fight, however... it could have been a bit different. All it was, was the same sequence, only from different angles. There were too many climaxes, or so everyone else said. But the Wachowski's didn't do that on purpose; they created the Matrix, the very first movie, and it was brilliant. They wouldn't do something to make it bad, there must have been a purpose. I just want to know why they did what they did. I totally agree with Jedi when he says there wasn't any other way to end it.... gah I need to go think about it some more.

i missed RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE at the end credits...thier music at the end of the previous two films got me all excited about just having seen something unbelievable...i also wonder why persephone and merv. didnt have more in REV..they r 2 awesome characters! Merv. is the guy everyone loves to hate! what do ya say we all start posting how we woulda wrote the film, rather than argue and bash everyone, huh??

i knew it would be THE END, but it still shocked to me to realize it's over

that is what half of the threads in this forum are, people saying how the movie coulda been better, rather than accepting that the movie was created by two men who probably have IQs higher than their own...I'm not dissing anyone, but i'm saying that the Wachowski's had a vision for this trilogy, and they fulfilled it. Accept that, rather than calling them horrible screenwriters/producers.

I'm not saying that it could have been better, I'm just saying that it's not what I envisioned, and probably isn't what anyone else envisioned too. But now, we have to understand WHY they envisioned it. WHY they made that choice. And it's fine with me!

joeboy> she is NOT the new Oracle, there is no need for a new oracle. She is important because, as the burlymeister said, she is the future...

You must have been in the same IMAX theatre I was in, I was one of the ppl booing.

Jedi: They did not satisfy all the fans. Hardcore fans were let down and many of them at that. I have alot of hardcore matrix fan's as friends and some say they like it, not loved, and other just say it sucked. Do not speak for everyone.

No matter how much money someone has they get used to a certain lifestyle and if they do not keep money coming in...you know what happens. DO you honestly think it's fair that in order for fans to have closure to some questions they have to buy more stuff.

Everyone here seems to be ok with money, I personaly have no problem with it but, what about the fans that do?. Do you think it's fair for a person who has just enough money to buy the dvd's or purchase a movie ticket b/c they have a family to think about or are in certain situations do you think it's fair that they have to go out and buy all these extra's to be able to enjoy the story as a whole. Imagine, just imagine these ppl going out and supporting these movies only to be expected to shell out more cash....man that must suck.

Someone before stated something about not everything is answered and thing's bring up new question's......that's fine but, this is a trilogy and ppl expect something out of theatrical trilogies. I will remind you all again I did not create this hype it was fed into the mind of the fans by the creators.
