try to open the sigs up in that...go to save copy as..and hopefully it will give you a option of saving as a gif or a jpeg.

I don't think I have paint so I might not be much help here

on windows xp sometimes it will only save as a bitmap..I have no idea why..

go to edit options
go down to change avatar
pull down to use custom avatar
hit browse and find your new avay(you might have to change them like your siggie in paint)
then submit modifications
