Poor Raistlin. He was nicer before the test, but then he turned HIDEOUS and weak. Weis and Hickman probably based his disease on that one where people cough up blood and stuff

I am another. . . I love the book from the original storyline (The Meetings Sextet, Preludes, Chronicles, Legends, War of Souls), but I must say that my favorite trilogy is the Kingpriest Trilogy, by Chris Pierson. They are amazing. They tell of the events leading to the Cataclysm. I also like how the Elven Exiles Trilogy is beginng, which tells the tale of the exiled Elven Nations after the War of Souls, by Paul B. Thompson and Tonya C. Cook. Check both of these out, you won't be disappointed.
Who is your favorite DL character? Mine (obviously) is Lord Soth, Knight of the Black Rose.
Yay, finally someone here who knows what I am talking about. The Kingpriest Trilogy was certainly one of the better ones, yet the classics still rock my world. Weis and Hickman sure are great. I tried to read the Linsha trilogy (the most recent ones) but the author simply didnt catch my interest as the others did. One currently under construction is the Rise of Solamnia Series by someone-or-another. I read the first on, Lord of the Rose, and couldnt decide whether I liked it or not. The author has a similar writing style to Weis and Hickman which I like, yet it has a touch of the masculine hand, which is evident with the main character this the burning blade. All in all, I am excited for the next one in Weis's Amber and Iron.
Yeah, the Dark Disciple Trilogy. I haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm waiting for the last of the Minotaur Wars Trilogy to come out in paperback (Empire of Blood). I haven't read the Linsha Trilogy, and I'm not sure that I ever intend to. I have The Lord of the Rose but I haven't found the time to get into that either.
