Re: The Queen?
Yeah I'm sure they can use their huge ears to swim along at lightspeed. That brings up a thought. What would happen if something moved at lightspeed through water? Would it make some wierd water boom happen under water? Or would the water split apart and make some long wormhole from the track of the thing that was moving at lightspeed? I dunno. I'm no good with physics and all that kind of thing.

Re: The Queen?
I would imagine you would generate a wave front quite a few hundred
or even thousand miles high.
As light speed is 299,792Km
a second in a vacuum and the refractive index (basically the
drag) of water is 1.33333333.
Therefore light travels
through water at about 224844Km per second, so just where are
you going to find a body of water big enough?

Re: The Queen?
I dunno. Mon Calamari?
Well even if there is no ocean
large enough on Earth, I wonder if there's some other way they
could run an experiment to see what would happen. I've seen footage
of an airplane flying past faster than the speed of sound and
it looked really cool.

At those speeds you could circle the surface of Jupiters clouds
once a second.

Lightspeed is a crazy, crazy way of getting arond, the generators
take advantage of the fabric between planets.

It appears to be Tatooine and one of the things looks like a
Jawa, is the other Anakin?

Re: new select pic
Possibly, and I must say this is actually an excellent pic. It'
s been a long time since we've seen any really cool select pics
like this one. It's certainly a jawa and like you say, the man
is probably Anakin. And what's that on the left side of the pic?
Anakin's transport he uses while on Tatooine? A landspeeder maybe.

Re: new select pic
This is definately another one that would make a great wallpaper for you PC/Mac.
BTW, that's a Swoop at the side. If you look close you can see the supports that will be removed in post-production so it looks like it's floating.

Re: new select pic
Really? That's cool. But are you absolutely sure about that? It might be the Jawa's cart full of junk.

Re: new select pic
So Anakin is going to be flying around Tattoine on a motorbike. He's getting badder all the time. It'll be a tattoo and a nose ring next. Just wait and see.

Anakin is looking for his lost mother and asks a Jawa for directions? Go figure.

Re: new select pic
Thanx for the comparison Ratcat, I see what you mean now. It'll be great to see Anakin ride that thing.
