I doubt I post enough in any forum to be eligible for a position as mod. Maybe OTF but that doesn't have a moderator and I'm not known to be the nicest of characters in that forum.

My roots were in the HP forum. I'd post there a lot more, but there isn't much to say, and the Three broomsticks is full of people I don't particularly enjoy.

That's actually quite true. I once modded a rather large DBZ rpg forum, and anytime I closed a roleplay because it was against the rules, people would constantly give me crap. Eventually, the Administrator made "giving the mods crap" a bannable offense. The Wall of Shame gained 12 members in one day because of me.

Basically, I've found the best way to enforce rules, is to not give any slack, and be as hard as you can on members. One warning, 3 day ban, one week ban, two week ban, perm ban.

That's what I used to do, at least.

I pushed for the creaiton of the General Fiction section, then frequented it the most out of anyone, so Raz offered me the spot.

Not saying that would work now or ever again, but it happened.

I want to know if this is just another forum site or if it's the great site I thought it was...

I suspect lots of sucking (oooh so many meanings).

No thats not true. Raz loves everyone. He talks to birds, flowers, bunnies etc He has a flying umbrella and there is no place in his heart for such feelings... happy
