Nohgri in Episode 3?

No, the Nohgri were a creation of Timothy Zahn...I think, can someone back me up on this?

Yes I'm pretty sure they were made by Timothy Zahn. The lizard-like bounty hunter in TESB is Bosck, a Trandoshan who has a hate for Wookies.
Another alien species that is rather lizard-like are the Barabels (I think that's what they're called) and are seen in Shadows of the Empire.

Not sure. Was that made before or after Zahn's trilogy?

I think Zahns was the first novels that would be truly EU. Happy to be corrected though.

Did someone (possibly Steve Sansweet) say that we should consider the Thrawn Trilogy as Episode 7, 8 and 9 and that they are officialy what happens to Luke and his buddies after the OT?

Nohgri is Episode 3?

I wouldn't think so. You'd think that Lucas would have had Luke and Leia rebuild the Jedi Order and that hadn't been done yet. In the Thrawn Trilogy Leia isn't even a Jedi, thats the one thing about the EU that I never liked. She is a Skywalker and should be a Jedi.

Re: Nohgri is Episode 3?

I guess she's far too old to start training now that all these New Jedi Order books are coming out. Politics is her thing and she's a great fighter anyway.

Dark Empire Trilogy as Episode 7 - 9

I would consider Dark Empire as episode 7, Dark Empire 2 as episode 8, and Empire's End (Dark Empire 3) as episode 9. The "return" of Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine and the true death of The Empire makes this trilogy stand out and apart from all the other EU series. This in NO way means the other EU series aren't good. The Dark Empire Trilogy IS the turning point in the Galactic Civil War (in the EU). Cheers!

I just noticed something, The Emperor has extremely large temples in ROTJ, what are those things??

Re: Dark Empire Trilogy as Episode 7 -

I think you're either referring to the "slugs" that were by the side of Palpatine's head, which were added in during post-production because of lighting problems by his head. Or you may mean the strange rings around Palpy's eyes in TESB. They were used as make-up to make him look more menacing and evil or something, but were not used in ROTJ.
