Because Neo, already showing powers like dodging bullets as an Agent can, was even at that pre-One point considerably more powerful than you guys.
I refrained from that tack for the Veteran because I didn't want to stereotype all Veterans like Morpheus. Not all talk in such ways, but they do all have experience relevant to the mini-convo I gave. After all, Dallas' quote in that situation would be
"Just do it, boy!"

Okay, I've got a proposition for you all.
As you may or may not know (well, Ush knows, at least), I like to build websites. So, I was wondering if everyone would be interested in me putting together a website for this RPG. It wouldn't be anything big, just a place to keep track of all the rules, different path powers, all the characters and their paths...I'm suggesting this now because I'll be on Christmas break in a few days and will have time to work on it.
...so...what do you think? Ush? Like the idea?

Lol, alright ^_^ Don't worry, it's not going to be huge and I'm not going to advertise it anywhere, so you should be safe there...and even so, all I have to say is that you don't own the actual game system but instead modified it for this RPG and you should be okay.

Yeah, I know ._. but the site would just primarily be for us to keep track of everything, because this forum is pretty cluttered and sometimes it takes a while to find what you're looking for. I don't think I'd even give out the address to anyone but us who are playing in the game.

Okay! I'll prolly start working on it sometime this weekend or early next week, I could probably finish it in about 2-3 days (since it'll mainly be copy and paste from the threads in this forum), and I'll let you guys know when it's up and running!

Character-wise, we there was a thread where the players made pictures of their characters using the HeroMachine system! We could list those there too, since I have them archived in my useless gumf on my computer...

We'll be coming up to the finale of the Lon Wa fight soon, folks! Now, you should be used to the combat system by now after all that... what conclusions have you reached?
I note that the more time goes by, the more people have become enamoured of Strength, whereas at character creation people were more inclined to be faster...
