HOW DARE YOU CRITISIZE THE SCARECROW! If anything, the Begins Batmobile is less like the Batmobile than as opposed to the Begins Scarecrow and the fantasy one. One you see how the scarecrow looks under the hallucinagions (sp) youll be satisfied... BEEE-YOTCH!
No, your not in the dark on this one NoFate. Your absolutly on point about this. And you did'nt even have to see the damn movie.
It IS stupid. And they use Ras ALL wrong in this movie.
Im not gonna spoil you guys, but I'll emphasize this. Just take a look at this movie. Ras, Falcone, Scarecrow!! 3 Villains.
Spidey 1, Green Goblin. Batman 1 Joker. Spidey 2, Doc Oc. All good movies.
Batman Returns, Catwoman, Penguin. Batman 3, Riddler, TwoFace. Batman 4, Freeze, Poison Ivy, BANE!!! All of them crap!
Now the Franchise is supposed to start over fresh... , Ras, Scarecrow, Falcone! C'mon you people can't be that dense, do the math. They're making the SAME mistakes, they truley have NO idea, why Batman 2,3,&4 are all considered poor movies. And in a few day's you'll see what I mean.
Yeah man, sheesh... theyre not even major villains, only the Scarecrow is. Falcone is just a crime boss, and i havent seen anything that shows any actual fighting between Ras and Batman. So.. he is pry a bad guy but... doesnt do much in this film.
I thoughts the films were fine, sure they may look worse now that they have aged but even then I wouldn't say they were BAD films. Mr. Parker you should give them more credit, and without them there would be no Batman Begins.
some people will love this movie, others will call it The Death Of Batman, and still others have already banned themselves from the theater for flimsy reasons ("I hate the car", "The mask is all wrong", "the merchandising is done badly/not at all", etc) I intend to plant my lil hinie in the theater opening night and enjoy myself immensely. getting excited, getting very excited, have become welsh....
There are things that I like about the first film,it has some positives,the theme song,Kim Basinger,ect.but unfortunately the negatives far outweigh the positives of that horrible movie.The only scenes worth sitting through are the ones with Kim Basinger in them. I will give Burton credit it that department casting Basinger.She's much hotter than Kidman in Forever.The ONLY Bat flick I can sit through.Well I can with the first one as well.I just fastforward through all the scenes that dont have Basinger in them.

just happened to walk by a tv that had ebert and roeper reviewing BB. didn't catch all of their review, but caught some of it---they say they actually got involved in the story, it's actually about batman and not "the villain of the week", the acting is fab (not surprising with cain, neeson, freeman), they say they "play it straight" there is no "winking at the camera" , that they are actually "in this world" (those quotes from ebert/roeper), but the main point seems to be "they finally got Batman RIGHT!" they both give it two thumbs way up. cool cool cool cool! golly I wish life had a fastforward button----I wanna see this movie so bad....... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they'd better deliver...comic book movies are general better now than they've even been.
