Still dont like the ideal of Ra being a good guy.

There are things that I like about the first film,it has some positives, the theme song,Kim Basinger, ect.but unfortunately the negatives far outweigh the positives of that horrible movie. The only scenes worth sitting through are the ones with Kim Basinger in them. I will give Burton credit it that department casting Basinger. She's much hotter than Kidman in Forever. The ONLY Bat flick I can sit through.Well I can with the first one as well.I just fastforward through all the scenes that dont have Basinger in them.
you can sit through forever but not either of its predecessors?

Ra a good guy? who sez?
apparently BW gets his training from him to start with, so presumably they are not at each other's throats at least to start with, but one of the clips has ra saying something like "gotham must be destroyed" and right after that BW says "gotham is not beyond saving". these two points would seem to contradict each other, therefore these two guys probably aren't on the same side. he's no good guy. at best, he's neutral at the start of the film.

Sandy Collora director of Batman: Dead End actually gave Batman Begins an amazing review, not a negative remark to be spotted.

I only like Schumacher better because of Batman Forever, the one halfway good Batman movie made so far.Sure Batman and Robin was horrible but Schumacher HAS made some other great films.St Elmo's Fire,A Time To Kill,The Pelican Brief Phantom Of the Opera and my favorite movie of the 90's Flatliners. While the only films Burton has that I enjoyed were Ed Wood and Edward Scissorhands.

time to kill was an acquired taste at best...
pelican brief was good sure... but compare both CV's... burtons movies tend to get alot more critical acclaim...

Tim Burton is useless, he has e needs to read the best batman stuff, The schwartz/Austin early midseventies Batman. Which is what the new film appears to hark back to, that and year 1 good choices in my opinion.

I thought burton did an ok job. Peguin sucked, but other than that the movies were ok.
