Wich awards and category you think that ROTK will be nominated.Its four sure that at least one academy award will go to the production of ROTK.

I think it's Best Adapted Screenplay or Best Adapted Writing.

I'm thinking Best Supporting Male for Ian McKellen or Sean Astin (rarely seen two nominations for the same film)
Directing
Cinematography
Art Direction
Costume Design
Editing (maybe just 60-70% on this one)
Sound
Sound editing
Visual Effects
Best Picture
Adapted Screenplay (I'm a bit shaky on this one too)

On thing is, no matter if you liked the movie, the acting etc. or not, you cannot disregard that the movie is an amazing visual achievement, and it will probably pick up, worst case scenario, 3 or 4 statues for the technical side of things.
