You know what is sad..Sasuke would do the same as Vegeta and let Babidi control him cause of the power up. Unlike Vegeta he'd never break that control though. Poor Vegeta gets a lame guy like Sasuke modeled after him.

Why yes, I know the definition of deflect. I also know the definition of context. Does Sasuke look like he's deflecting anything? If he were then that would imply he his stronger than Bee and subsequently A.
Oh and the Viz Translation for the anime(subs) does in fact use "dodge" so yeah, get on my level.
Or hell, if you want to play definitions then deflecting still doesn't mean stopping, which is what you claimed A to have done. And then there is the 3rd being known as the only man to go face to face with a bijuu.

Madara isn't operating at normal levels though. He was upgraded, and given an ability he didn't have until after his defeat, and was near death. So what Madara is doing now isn't really fair to compare First Hokage to.

Those 3 dudes, much like most other ninja, needed teamwork/sealing/weakness exploitation/controlling the Bijuu in order to stop the Bijuu. A's dad went toe-to-toe with Gyuuki, and stalemated him.
You also left out Gaaradad, and 12 year old Naruto.
Hashirama faced and beat his strongest technique though, the same technique that is superior to (in terms of raw power) any other technique he currently has access to. Based on that, Hashirama is > nearly everyone else, including Minato.

Jiraiya iirc said greatest ninja, and Sarutobi implied it. And Sarutobi was said at one time to be greater than the 1st and 2nd. Even in the fight against them he was able to hold his own. The series was on a smaller scale of power back then, least showing a smaller scale, but it was never implies Hashirama or Tobirama were weaker than normal. Kishi has now taken the series to a whole new scale of power which has become ridiculous compared to the beginning which throws the whole power rankings out the window making Saru seem so weak, and Minato despite what people say about him, in his showings hasn't shown any huge powers, and all his attacks are upgrade or made up from existing attacks.
