So, you mean to tell me that if that same attack from the kyuubi was launched from where Pein was, the damage wouldn't be similar? The impact crater could be much deeper.
Me too. They just sorta left out the whole Kage gathering, and everything else for Pein destroying Konoha. I hope he'll get back to Killer Bee and the Raikage soon before Sasuke take the limelight away from everybody else again.

No, we never get to see that it was miles upon miles of damage. The manga never shows a "down the barrel" view of the devastation. The anime does.
We cannot claim that it WASN'T miles upon miles of damage because the manga never shows a perspective in order to see that. All we see is that his blast was split into two and Naruto's blast destroys the ultimate defense technique that was literally of epic level.
However, we can claim with a certain degree that claiming his blast went on for miles and miles. The Anime shows that that is a more accurate claim than saying it doesn't because the manga never shows a perspective to debunk it.
In other words, there's more evidence to support my perspective than yours (or any others) because the manga doesn't contradict me in anyway, but your claims do contradict the anime.
We can argue cannon bullshit, however, there's nothing in the manga for your to back your claims up that it didn't go for miles and miles. In other words, you can't back up an un-back-able claim.
Now, we can meet on middle ground and say that Naruto's blast was more powerful solely because it destroyed Oro's ultimate defense technique and then had plenty of energy to split the blast into two deep paths (in other words, there was plenty left over.) How in the hell would Pain's technique do anything to Oro's ultimate defense other than push it across the ground? All it was was an epic force push. The defense is so massive that it is on scale with Pain's attack (as seen in the manga, the background shows mountains and hills in the same perspective/size). I would say that Pain's attack diameter is a little less than double the height of Oro's ultimate defense gates.)
What would the Earth have done had Naruto's attack been aimed straight at the Earth like Pain's? Would we not see a massive hole in the Earth? Of course, the diameter of that direct Earth blast would be half, a third, or even a forth of the size. However, we should expect an absurdly deep hole in the Earth on a scale approaching miles. We don't know how ultimate Oro's defense is, so it could absurdly dwarf the energy of Pain's attack by hundreds or even thousands of times, or it could be in the scale of tens of times. However, it is quite clear that Naruto's blast contained a significantly more energy than Pain's crushing technique.
Also, it is called "Naruto", so I highly doubt Kishi would power Pain beyond four tails cloak Naruto.
I saw some spoilers. It looks like Naruto sees God and God gives him a super power. I know that sounds weird, but I don't know how else to describe the bright being that pulls him up into the clouds.
Dumb. I understand Naruto is stronger but this is just ridiculous. Next up he'll probably beat all of Pein's bodies at once, then kill Madara with a single Rasengan. Ergh...
