~ Also, never mind, the Ten-Tails Tree form instantly appeared after Kaguya ate the fruit. Did she absorb that after IT ended?

The real unanswered question is the important one. Do the people enclaved even have chakra? Or did they only gain chakra post-Hagoromo? Is the Shinju the only source of chakra, or is it inherent in all living things? What is the relationship between Shinjus and Otsutsuki? Why is Kaguya so much stronger than Momoshiki despite eating less fruit?
In that episode, Mount Myōboku looked like it had existed for a long time, and that ball was present when the Shinju appeared. Senjutsu must have been around for a long time.
I suppose it could be taken to mean that the chakra Hagoromo had shared was not used to create the concept of ninjutsu per se, but ninjutsu techniques. Jutsu existed before humans started calling them 'ninjutsu'. Technically, Six Paths - Chibaku Tensei was a ninjutsu and it was created before Ninshū.

That proves nothing. Just because she was looking for the tree doesn't mean she arrived at the same time that it did. In fact, the muggles from the last episode even said that it had been there for millennia.
You don't chase something if it arrived at a location long before you did, and I'll take the word of a wise toad who has a magic VCR, over that of a girl who spent a lot of time with a person who can modify memories.
~ If the Tree is the source of Natural Energy, it would not be depleting it over time.

There's no contradiction. We even see that after the meteor falls, there's a timeskip and the tree goes from non-existent to fully grown when Kaguya arrives. There's no reason to assume they came at the same time at all, besides an odd scrutiny of the word "chase" which could have been a translation error to begin with.
Indeed. What made me ask is that the toad seemed to imply that Kaguya eating the fruit caused the depletion of natural energy, so it's possible that the tree that was providing the energy has weakened.
What did he say that implied that? Only asking because I don't remember and I cba to watch the episode again.

Upon rewatching the episode myself, I realized that I had misread the subtitles in one particular scene which caused the confusion. It definitely seems like Senjutsu predates the Shinju, although I still hold strong that the Shinju arrived long before Kaguya.
The question that opens up though is, where did the Shinju come from? Hell, where did Kaguya even come from? I always assumed she came from a different dimension, but this literally seems to imply that she came from outer space...
Well, lots of dumb stuff in this last episode, but whatever. Looks like Kaguya wasn't the Ten Tails, Kaguya was sealed in the moon and NOT the Ten Tails, and... The tailed beasts have nothing to do with Kaguya? What?
Also, when Kaguya was talking about what she feared for the future, we saw a faded image of three Otsutsuki, including Momoshiki and Kinshiki. Which means it wasn't just those two she was afraid of, after all.
Oh, and Hagoromo uses Perfect Susano'o in combat. And the Sun and Moon seals came out of nowhere and were never explained.
Hagoromo - With no training, possessed superhuman strength and natural ability to use all 6 chakra natures. Awakened the (3-Tomoe) Sharingan after witnessing his girlfriend's death, and the Mangekyou Sharingan after killing his younger brother. He seems to have awakened Six Paths Senjutsu simply by learning Senjutsu, and because of that his MS became a Rinnegan. Took the Shinju's power and became the SOSP.
Hamura - With no training, he wasn't as strong as Hagoromo in terms of strength or ninjutsu, but could naturally use the pure Byakugan. He seemed to become stronger during his travels, and awakened Six Paths Senjutsu upon being revived with a Senjutsu tag made at the Mt. Eventually awakened the Tenseigan as a result of the powers being combined.
Both were kinda underwhelming, honestly. Seemed weaker than Naruto and Sasuke, although they did defeat Kaguya and the Shinju simultaneously.
