One thing...Sasuke passed out shortly after Itachi died...erog, he used up virtually all of his chakra.
Also, that last part when Madara looked Kakashi...that was freaky. I know it was just a drawing but Kakashi shit is his pants and the next frame, we see why. That was probably the best, as of yet, portrayal of demonic origins of the Sharingan. The way Madara looked at Kakashi reminded me of a dead body twitching right before you kiss it.
Man, when I was younger I used to adore this show, and it certainly is pretty quality... but one thing that I didn't enjoy was the 'samey' battles. Naruto encounters 'the most powerful enemy ever' who has a different and unique jutsu that she/he spams in the fight, and just before Naruto is pooped he somehow finds it in him to build up a lot of strength (and grow whiskers in the process) and somehow defeats them.
Is that accurate? :P
They've always got something to ensure defeat until he turns it around. Take both his fights with Mizuki for instance, he takes on an elite ninja, and manages to snag a victory, within his first week of being a proper ninja...or even a trainee. Then, he fights Mizuki again a lot later...but this time he's like a Tiger, and somehow Naruto and Iruka pull it off. Zabuza, Haku...even Kiba in the tournament fight! Everything seems to get extremely emotional, then he wins. Naturally the show does swing in his favour (what with it being his show an' all) but that doesn't mean that the fights should be scarce of diversity. Nonetheless it is pretty enjoyable, but those fight scenes got me
Mizuki wasn't really ever shown to be strong either and was attacked by a thousand Naruto's at once. Mizuki second time wasn't canon. Besides Mizuki was just a chunin not even one of the top and he was one of the teachers on top of that not even going out on missions.
Zabuza...he didn't stand a chance againt or even really fight.
Haku I'll give you but even still Haku wasn't stronger than Zabuza.
Kiba is like the weakest of the rookie 9 with exceptions of like Ino and Sakura, and Naruto couldn't even control his chakra properly. Sure the way he beat him was weird but Naruto shouldn't have even needed any time to bring out any number of clones.
Neji is the only other one he has really beaten that I'll give you also but still Neji isn't anywhere near the most powerful person in the village at that time. I still think Neji should have seen him under the ground with his byakugan.
Gaara is the only other person he has beaten and that was only because he changed Gaara's outlook on stuff and Gaara let him live and left.

You're right, Mizuki wasn't a very good chunin, but they don't exactly dish that rank out. And for a new recruit, like Naruto to defeat him was out of the ordinary, and yes, there were a thousand of Narutos and my point is that how the hell could he have done that? We know he's got the kyubi and whatnot but that was a very drastic swing.
Zabuza, If I recall he pretty much psyched them all out at one point, and Naruto didn't really do much against him. Haku almost took Saskuke's life and you know how competetive Naruto is, he's bound to try and compete, but there was no way... I just dislike the way whenever he's in a pickle it's all: 'Kyubi to the rescue' it seems sort of cheap.
Ah, the Neji fight, that was bound to be bought up, and another victory in the bag for Naruto. I just don't get how he stood a chance, if it isn't Shadow Clones that save the day, it's Kyubi...and later on it's Rasengan, man... Rasengan. He could be a bit more diverse what with wanting to be the 4th Hokage don't you think? All his fights don't vary at all.
Sakura and Ino have become Chunin. Shikamaru became a Chunin and he gave up. Becoming a chunin is pretty much as easy as being smart and surviving the Forest of Death. Mizuki didn't have to be that strong. Naruto didn't even use kyuubi power.
What I meant was Naruto never stood a chance against Zabuza not the other way around, and I already said the Haku battle was given to you, and the Neji battle. But that's really only two.
Shadow Clones never really do much except get spammed and beaten. Rasengan is like one of the strongest jutsu so yea...it's going to save him but it didn't work to well against Sasuke. As for Kyuubi..he has a demon he can draw power from of course it's a walking plot device.
Naruto isn't exactly smart he goes for what works...and what doesn't work like spamming shadow clones...but he also doesn't win everything either. I could understand if he won every single fight against the strongest opponents but he wouldn't really stand a chance against most of the top Ninja in Naruto, he doesn't win every battle, and he doesn't fight the strongest people.

Naruto wants to become A hokage. Not the 4rth. That was Yondaime.
Tsunade is the 5th.
Kakashi will be the 6th. Jaraiya and Tsunade agreed to that.
Naruto will be the 7th....maybe. In another 400 chapters.
Naruto did REALLY well against that guy who used different hearts. He used his head, which is is discredited for NOT using. A great feet in the Naruto Universe. Also, he mastered a Jutsu that not even the 4th Hokage could master. The 4th Hokage was one of the strongest Ninjas in the Naruto Universe.
Well to be fair to the the 4th...he died young and he doesn't have the nearly limitless stamina to train like Naruto has plus his duty as Hokage probably didn't help.

Doesn't that seem to be a little odd to you? As far as Naruto is concerned, he can only be handy when he gets all emotional. And you're only furthering my point by saying that the 4th Hokage was one of the strongest characters, so how on earth could Naruto excel him?
actually, naruto is a very powerful ninja, he just lacks the personality to match it(like an uchiha possesses).
he mastered, upgraded, and surpassed the shadow clone jutsu which is a jonin level technique to begin with and the rasangan is a given.
just like his father, naruto is a ninja of few but effective jutsu, he doesn't really need to learn hundreds of jutsu he just needs to amp the ones he has.
the kyuubi only weakens him and all his masters tell him he doesn't need it. after the next time skip, naruto will be more mature and his power will be even more obvious.
With Kyuubi he's a whole lot stronger not weaker. Just his body gets hurt so it's not exactly safe but he's even stronger than Kakashi without it he just doesn't have great chakra control so he seems weaker.

yeah its powerful but it isn't naruto, more of a demon possession.
naruto needed its benefits to train in the time frame he had and the fact that it makes up for his ineptitude but after he gets older he won't need that burden anymore.
Have I said how much I hate Sasuke lately. And like he really needs the Mangekyou Sharingan. Everybody he fights dies anyway without him doing anything.

Explains a lot of stuff. Sasuke didn't develop the MS himself, Itachi gave it to him when died. hm... more theories. Does that mean then that Itachi's true goal wasn't to kill Sasuke and take hsi eyes, but maybe it was some kind of test? Like if Sasuke couldn't beat Itachi then he couldn't beat Tobi. Interesting.
According to the last page of the chapter, there won't be a new chapter for two weeks.

perhaps he wanted the doujutsu beyond the mangekyo to beat madara who was gonna destroy the world or sumthing. and was willing to kill sasuke to get it. or maybe he was like the boss was with naked snake in MGS, he wanted to tell sasuke the truth but cudnt due to whatever reason. maybe hes another minato type. also, i think the kyuubi may have been summoned by madara but he probably didnt have enough power to keep it under control. or maybe the kyuubi is infact the final jutsu that the highest jutsu of the doujutsu beyond mangekyo shaaringan could produce. also, ive been wondering lately, what would happen if sum1 could master the power of the shiki fujin shinigami {minato's jutsu with which he sealed the kyuubi with} without dying. that would make em godly too.
