the thing has more fighting ability and they are equal in strength, the only advantage colossus has is in durability. The only universe colossus has more fighting ability than the thing in is in Ultimate, but we are not talking about ultimate in this thread, were talking about mainstream 616. by the way the thing is smarter too and has more experience.
well, it is kind of hard to say since colossus has moved up to class hundred, and now he as more rage than ever, i think he can pretty much win this, and the same can be said for ben.
the thing also has moved up to class 100, and they are the same strength, colossus may be faster, but not more agile, and the thing, FOR THE LAST TIME, IS THE BETTER FIGHTER! plus the thing, now that i think about it, is more durable. He proved he is more durable by taking 3 punches from Juggy b4 getting knocked out, while Colossus got knocked out on the first punch Juggy landed.
i dont care anymore, im no longer posting as much on this thread cuz i very much dislike anyone such as yourselves who actually like to argue. Everything i say is usually true, im not biased, but someone always has something bad to say about everything i say for some unknown reason to me. So im not gonna post as much anymore.
no i realize that, but it gets annoying when people say things like "dude, what r u on, colossus is way stronger!", i hate when people say things like that. I would have no problem if people could just say "actually, colossus is way stronger."
None of the Colossus supporters can back anything up...basically, u like colossus, u think he looks cool, uve been reading X-men for years, and now that Colossus is back ur really hyped. But none of this supports why Colossus would beat the Thing. Stop saying Colossus can beat the Thing...just say u LIKE Colossus better, cuz thats what this is about.
Alright, it's things like that piss me off. Don't just assume that people are voting for certain characters just because they "like him"/"think he's dreamy/cool", whatever. We are supporting Colossus just as much as the Thing supporters are supporting Thing. I can assume that you like Thing more, so you're going for him. DUH. If you feel that you can back up your claims, then the art of arguing is still alive! It's just a debate, there will be two sides. Without two sides, there would be no debate, and then there would be no "comic vs" forum.

There is very good, very equal support from both sides. From fans, yes. But also from people who actually know what they're talking about, since they know the character so well.
Look. I like the Thing. I think he's one of the best characters there is.
But Colossus is, in fact, slightl stronger, which could prove to work in his favor.
And yes, believe it. Colossus is FASTER and more AGILE than the Thing. Like previously, Colossus gains speed, agility, AND endurance when transformed.
And don't say he is just a bit more durable. Colossus can withstand temperatures up to 12,000 degrees farhenheit and down to just 70 degrees above absolutle zero. That is a huge gap. Thing does not share the same statistics. Colossus is virtually invunlerable, as proven many times in the comics. Thing is also quite durable, but not nearly to the same extent.
Colossus takes this fight in a very long and drawn out battle.
u did it again...made a ton of statements with nothing to back it up...I do agree Colossus can withstand greater temperatures, however it has been demonstrated over and over again that in a fight with fists, the Thing can take more than almost anyone. Why is colossus faster or more agile? the Thing did not lose dexterity or agility after his transformation. Who has Colossus fought on his own? Ord? The Thing has a much better resume. Colossus is not more durable in a fist fight. When Colossus fought the Champion he still had those same heat resistant stats, however, he was left senseless after one punch by Champion. Thing wins...rather easily too, just as he stated when the Skrull imposter Colossus kept going longer than Thing thought Colossus could go. This wasnt a coincident, this is the way Thing figured out that the Skrull was an imposter.
That would make a difference if they were fighting someone that is using the elements as a weapon. But they aren't, they are fighting each other. No weapons other than what they can find during the tussle.
So how hot or how cold they can physically stand matters not.
It's about taking and dishing out a beating. Colossus is out of his league IMO.
I could be wrong, but wasn't that Skrull imposter fighting "old" Colossus, and not the upgraded one ?
Besides, Colossus is stronger, has as much as heart as Thing, is more durable and the slight difference in fighting skills won't make much difference.
Colossus has the better cards. That's why he should win.

Tempature gauges off...
That would make a difference if they were fighting someone that is using the elements as a weapon. But they aren't, they are fighting each other. No weapons other than what they can find during the tussle.
