It was correct enough to me to picky about the number of times he was whipped when people like BACKFIRE said he was whipped from beggining to end is stupid.

Kes:To my knowledge , the bible does NOT state a number be it 30 or 40 as far as the count of the lashings. I am very informed on the topic. I can say that the normal number was 40 minus 1 or 39 lashes total, it was thought that taking "1" off was an act of mercy as no one could withstand 40. As I stated before many people did not live through the 39 either!
I would really like to know if this person counted correctly?
BTW, backfire...I never said that you were "evil" so do not put words in my mouth. It does "scare" me that you would make a hero of such a character. Then you go on to call a love filled man who sacrificed his body for others, a "PATSY". But , Hey that is your choice and I can deal with it(even if I dont agree with it)

Trust me the guy counted right.He pays attention to detail and he was looking out for it since, according to him, it says 30 in the bible. Hey maybe it was translated differently LOL

Trust me , it doesnt mention a number in any bible I have seen.Please ask him which bible and where exactly? I would love to hear his response. Exactly how many "lashes" did he count?
