you've not missed much. we were just discussing how old Keira was when she did her first nude scene and then someone said something about a 12 year old in a nude scene (not Keira) and we never really decided how old Keira's first nude scene was. I THINK it was 15... if not definatley 16.
Not to sound uninformed, but unless there was a remake of Dr. Zhivago, not Keira--that movie's old, I was grown when I saw it.
I checked in movies and the one where she will appear nude is called the Jacket, so she's what 25--quite the grown up girl. She's not just sitting around, there are like 4 movies coming out with her in em. She had a kicking costume in King Arthur.

but in 2002 there was an ITV (english terrestrial channel) remake of Dr Zhivago and Keira was in it...she must have been 16/almost 17 because I think a few months after making The program, she went on to do POTC

Keira looks older than her true age of 22. She's very pretty except when she smiles. Her lower lip and jaw jut out when she grins. Hey, nobody's perfect, right? She's got beautiful eyes and good cheekbones (like Johnny). She looks like Winona Ryder's cousin.
Erm...Im not sure to be honest jaeh, but i mean the laws for the Uk might be different to that in the US.
You have to be 16 or over to have sex in the UK...that might apply to the television law, too....
Daniel Radcliffe (Harry potter) was naked on stage in a stage play that he performed, and he was only 17 at the time...(he also had a sex scene in the play, too...) so im not sure about the laws.
Also about Keira's body:
We know she doesnt have a problem, because he weight has stayed the same for a very long time. Even when she was in bend it like beckham (back in 2001 i think) she was VERY skinny...and now in 'Atonement' she is still the same...never gained, never lost.
She did a news interview for ITV in the UK yesterday, and stated that the newspapers dont realise that when they're talking about a star's weight, they never think that theres actually a person there that they are talking about....a person with feelings....

I agree but it's not just celebrities have you never heard someone whisper as a fat person passes "Oh god, look how fat she is!" And that person certainly didn't consider what the fat person may have over heard.
it's all about money they don't give a poo if she's a junkie all they care about is the money she make them.

i don't think it's that they don't realize, i think it's more of the tabloids don't give a damn about their feelings. i mean i feel bad for them, but sadly that's life. just like miss swann said-it's all about the money. that's how they make their living, and they have to make up terrible lies about people to keep food on their table. i feel for celebs like keria-just trying to do her thing, but can't with the media always on her back.
and i personally do not like amy winehouse. that song is terrible-she deserves that boycott. i mean why should someone make a living on such negative lyrics that is sent out to the world. i think that it encourages people to just keep up their addictions and not seek for help. it's crazy how much the media gets away with.

Keira should learn from Johnny Depp on how to deal with the media. Johnny had dirt heaped on him so many times before in his career yet he has now come up cool as a cat and unscathed. He doesn't give a shit about the tabloids and all those lies but continues to give credit to his fans - the most important people. Keira should remember that too - her fans are the people who pay her salary.

I understand freedom of speech and everything BUT why the **** do they have a magazine with pictures of Nicole Richie saying "Oh goodness someone feed her she's fading away!" and then you buy the next issue of the magazine and there's all this trash about how to get the perfect bikini body like Nicole Richie and then turn the page "look at that celulite!" (on some random person that I can't think of right now...)? I just don't get it?
I think Keira does it the best way by keeping away from all those trashy magazines.
How the media can portray kate moss as if she were a 'golden girl', when only last year she was snorting coke and basically being a waster...and yet she got even more celebrity status from it!!!
And then there are other celebs like britney spears (who i feel sorry for to be honest, i reckon shes having some kind of post natal depression or something after haveing 2 children in such a short space of time) who have their s**t splashed all over the papers even when they are trying to get better....
its ridiculous!
The thing that gets me the most though, is that the media focuses on almost Anorexic women....what about the fact that obesity is rising????? can't they start focusing on that????#

I think keira is sensible enough to stay out of it, to be honest...she knows whats best for her, and she doesnt need to throw herself into the tabloid press to show it

I totally agree. They can't find anything wrong with Keira...not that she's perfect but she's a nice girl right? Well all they could think of was 'well she's skinny so I guess we can getaway with calling her anorexic...we don't have any other stories about her'

Anyway back to Keira...I saw a few pics of her on the red carpet from the premiere of Atonment in Venice film festival. She looked lovely!
Also...something interesting! I'm a 100% sure Keira said she liked her kiss with Johnny better than Orlando(cause I saw it in print)...when asked the question she was like "well I had a crush on Johnny when I was 14 so my 14 year old self was wooping with joy" or something like that. Apparently though her new co-star (in Atonment) is better than both of them...she said (and I quote) "he's the best kisser EVER!"
That settles the kissing argument I think! Lucky lucky girl...she gets to strut around and sample celebrity kisses and then decide who's better. *sigh*
