Red Superfly I was not talking from ignorance, I was saying souly what I think and I have a right to, it seems that you are the only one that thinks your opinion matters. So don't go saying others haven't taken the time to actually sit down and watch the film because we have, so what if we haven't read the comics or watched the cartoons? they were before my time, but that doesn't mean that I'm not a true Spidey fan, a true Spidey fan is someone that just likes it for what it is. If you don't like mine or anyone elses opinions then LEAVE! KMC is all about opinions and arguing about them FARELY.

I have to agree. Most of the people here were not even alive when the original spidey came out . They may not have even seen the original cartoons.

All characters change for the times. I'll bet most of you would hate spidey if his character was set around the old live action 70s' show. Think about that Peter Parker and think about now and be grateful for once.

There are probably people that actually bought the first Spidey comic when it was 10 cents or whatever and doesn't like the Spider-Man that any of you enjoy today. Who's the true fan now?

I have one thing that I have always wondered...Green Goblin costume in movie was made for army...thatīs why it had to be some kind of armor...but I really dont get whats with that ridicolous mask...enemies would die laughing...though that would be good thing...

That was another twist. In the movie, Norman has a fascination with tribal masks so he incorperated it into his suit.

I have a feeling he wore a mask for the same reason Spidey does. He needs to keep himself hidden.

The chip that everyone is talkin about isn't a chip that makes him evil. t's a inhibitor chip that he implanted in himself. In the movie it will explain that the arms have a new form a AI, and he uses that chip to make sure that he is always in control of the arms because they are bonded directly to his cerebelum.

Um..the true fan is the guy who bought the comic back in the day? Duh. Not someone who just got into Spider-Man because of the movie.

Like I said before, you have to start somewhere, don't you ? I like the Doors very much, but I wasn't even born when they started making music. Am I for this reason not a true fan ?

Besides, this "true-fan thing" is getting old. And when it was still young, it already sucked.

I agree. The whole "Your not a true Spidey Fan because you haven't read the comics" thing is getting old. Let it go, Doc. Ock is insane purely from his head, not a chip. As the other person mentioned before the Chip is so he can control his tentacles. I think he looks a lot better in the movie then in the comics and in the TV show. In the movie his tentacles look a heck of a lot more dangerous and bigger. His out-fit wardrobe-wise looks a lot more cooler. Imagine if he still had that hideous bowl-haircut in the movie like he did in the show!!

One thing is for sure, Doctor Octopus looks freakin awesome.

They f***ed the Goblin right up - but at least Ock looks brilliant.

And as ever, the Spiderman suit still looks as great as in the first one (I read somewhere the suit has been modified ever so slightly - so the web pattern "flows" more etc)

I have been reading the book that's based on the movie, and if the movie is half as cool as the book the movie should be more than dominant.

Thats kind of a bad idea. It will ruin the movie completely.

I've finished, and know how it ends, but at least that lessens my appetite until the movie actually comes out. Anything to help the craving.
