Part of the thing about DD is his remaining senses are so enhanced he can hear the way people are moving, tendons tightening or loosening, eyeballs moving, heartbeats.

I can hear my own movements if I pay attention to it, and I don't have hearing anywhere near what DD has. . . so by hearing people moving he can guess what they are gouing to do in this respect.

However when fighting Punisher, Pun stated that DD knew what he was going to do before he even thought it. He also mentioned that DD was a psychic. DD does know what move is being performed before its completed, thus allowing him to dodge, parry or roll with the blow. When bullets are fired or things thrown, DD does know where they would end up due to the way things cut through the air. Thats why hes able to dodge between bullets so well.

sigh

DD isn't psychic.

He is able to do it because of his senses. he can hear your muscles twitch, the way the wind is moving between your fingers or fist.,the cock of the bullets of the gun,the click, the smell of the gunpowder in the guys palm.

All of that combine he can then decide what move he should do. He can't actually tell whats going to happen before it happens. It just that the noise is so loud that it's almost impossible not to know whats going to happen.

It's not actually precog like spideys"something is going to happen in that direction and it's going to happen now"

It's more like " well that guy is about to punch in that direction because I hear his muscles starting to twitch in that direction and the air flowing through his fist is going at so and so rate so I better move this way"

Not actual precog just very good ears. Looks like precog but it's not.

Who said DD was psychic? I mentioned thats what Punisher said because DD seems to know what he is going to do.

By listening to muscles and heartbeats, he CAN tell what someones going to do before they actually do it. There was a time where he listened to spideys heartbeat and knew he was going to jump at him.

Well if hes able to listen to someones heartbeat and know they are going to jump, id call that a type of precog.

That's precog enough for Spiderman. Why is it not precog enough for DD?

Rhetorical queation aimed through your statement.

Spiderman doesn't have true precog. He knows SOMETHING is going to happen, he knows where it will be and how bad it will be. He doesn't know WHAT it will be.

Spiderman still has precog.

Spiderman can tell something is going to happen beofre it happens. This is said to be precog.
Daredevil can tell what a person is going to do before they do it. This oddly enough, is not?

Both fit the very basic definitions "pre-prior cog(cognition)-knowledge"

So why is there a double standard do you suppose?

it becuase DD sense there fullmovement when there about to do it not befor so there actaully doing the movement but not knowing they are but spiderman on the other hand knows befor there body even twitches what is going to happen.

No, Spiderman knows something is going to happen, and then reacts. He knows how bad it's going to be, he knows where it is going to come from. He does not know the exact nature of the danger.

But that's enough to be counted as precog.

Im not sure if you read my post. DD KNEW Spidey was going to jump just by listening to his hearthbeat. Meaning he knew prior to Spidey actually jumping.

And no, Spidey doesnt know what they are going to do before someones does it. He just knows that they are going to do something.

Spiderman only knows something is going to happen, he doesn't even get to know who specifically is going to do what. for example an energy weilder on top of the building causes a detonation to emit from the thug in fornt of spiderman, the danger would be sensed from where? the thug? So then he would think the thug was going to do something, right? even if the thug wasn't?

But DD would still know that the person was going to do something BEFORE they did it. . . prior knowledge. . .
