toxin can create some weird green energy crap from his tendrils....i think. i've seen it right next to a tendril in issue 3 but i'm not too sure if that was his doing or something off the floor.

Ok this is what ive learned about Toxin so far just by trying to notice details...
1. He has wierd black symbiote juice on his toung. Might be poisonous, might just be drool.
2. He can make black tendrils out of his hands that he controls extremly well and can wack people and stuff with
3. He's still good moralled at heart but when he has his symbiote activated he doesnt control the symbiote whatsoever.
4. He has an orange symbiote with black hands and is black from waist down. He has a classic gooey symbiote transition between colors on both.

I hope i helped and stuff, but im pretty sure the tendrils and super SUPER strength are his powers. Maybe speed too, seeing how he handled carnage so effortlessly.

Well I wouldn't think that having the ability to control his tendrils is anything special. That would come more from the Symbiote than Pat, and naturally, it would only make sense for a creature to control itself. Also, his strength is just inharited. With each spawn a Symbiote has, they seem to get stronger. Look at Carnage, his Sym is stronger than Venom's.

Lemme just say, its not you. When he almost killed carnage he showed a few teeth, then fighting the robbers later he had a huge ugly toungy and LOTSA teeth. He might be a toothy blob by the time we see him next
Anyone know when issue 4 is comin out?

... don't you think it probably takes each new wearer time to adjust to the symbiote and learn how to control it? Give him time, he's brand-new and he doesn't know anything right now. Naturally he's not going to be as polished as the more experienced wearers.

He'll smooth down and get it all figured out.

Give him time...we would. Marvel, I'm not sure...thuogh the series is obviously popular. I haven't read it, but I am getting the distinct impression that they've REALLY clipped the nuts on that red-and-black dog that used to be so game... Hope I'm wrong there. Well, hey, if they at least throw in some rationale for Kasady taking symbiote lip like that- I could read between the lines and conclude that all syms evolve to become dominant. In retrospect, that seems to have been the trend with Red, but not so that I would have considered it either assured or entrenched... They really should have worked some kind of statement into the story, regarding that... I don't know; I just feel like its thready charactor development, uneven over the course of Kasady's apps, and could use some tightening up. Am I completely off?
Look, now I HAVE to laugh. I was on Godawful fan fiction dot com recently, and there was a hilarious nest of Mpreg plot bunnies nailed to a wall there...
Ah- Mpreg (male pregnancy). The wierdest variety of slash out there, yeah, knock 'em up... They're always doing this to "sensitive types" regardless of canon...
It's funny, because, Kasady's so unsensitive and unpretty, no slasher has ever, would ever, touch the man with a ten-foot-pole (and most men, they'd be happy to touch with that pole, heh). He's slash-proof. So slash-proof, Marvel has just introduced Mpreg (essentially) INTO HIS CANON, and yet they STILL won't go there! Oh, man, it's sweet.
And the best part is... now that Mpreg's been really showcased in symbiotes, its all gonna land on- you guessed it- BROCK! The slashgirls' favorite sym subject. God, if Kasady knew- he'd laugh. I am getting a chuckle. I like Brock, really, but, it goes to show that the experts on male "softness" have spoken- the slashgirls- and they say: Brock, yes, Kasady, NEVER!

I'm not yet ready to comment on the fine points of what goes on in the latest ish. of V. vs. C, because I don't get my copy till about the 8th of this month [Oct]. But suffice it to say when I read this post, my heart just sank.... no. Just... no.... I hate this idea of the symbiotes controlling what the host does, I just hate it. That just wrecks everything.

I'll feel free to ignore it, just like I ignore Venom being able to take Electro back in the 90's [Electro would have totally destroyed Brock: electricity being what it is], or Black Ca-I mean Crappy taking on and VANQUISHING Sabretooth. Uh.... how about NO.

Kasady's "slash-proof"-ness is one of the things that endears him to me. There is no doubt about it, this guy is 100%... uh, well... NOT slashy. Great!

And I really must say the same for Brock. There is not one iota of slash-worthiness about him. [I trust I offend none, but that's just how it looks to me.] We have been repeatedly shown that Brock is absolutely hetero. All this will die down in a month or two, and they'll return to the Spidey+GG slash. Or whatever the slash flavor-of-the-month is. [This is one of the few good things we can say about the current ASM arc: at least it debunks certain long-held theories re Osborn's true sexuality. Never saw him as the "slashy" type, sorry. Now Roderick Kingsley, -that- horse might trot, but Osborn, no.]

"Pregnancy" with the symbiotes is just a convenient word: they're not really pregnant, fangirl wishes aside. Its called [stating the obvious] ASEXUAL reproduction, and I want to know how asexual reproduction can be.... gah. The offspring bud off the host! There is no gestation! We can blame stupid Marvel for every bit of this silliness.

We have an unsacred duty: we must combat this onslaught of "pregnant" with new, better fanfics. >:-) I can see we need that Brock/Patricia fanfic I mentioned a while back even worse than I thought! We must UPHOLD THE FAITH. [evil smile]

Hee hee heh. Eh. Yeah, Eddie/Parker slash is an awkward thing, perhaps one of the most forced slash pairings ever- but it thrives. That's because there is inherent sensitivity and human appeal in Brock and Spidey both- slashgirls batten ravenously on this. It's their "in" into the masculine, the point of connection with men that they experience most profoundly, I suppose. It's the soft spot where they insert themselves... I'm not saying they're right to slash them (or wrong- but I will say they look silly to me on this one). My POINT is that this underscores how BAD Kasady is- nobody can imagine love in him, even the slashgirls- and they won't do it without the love! And I know its not preg in a human sense, but do you imagine that would stop the slashgirls from ascribing preg experiences to this symbiote "gestation?" No, they could build a similarity of symptoms/subjective experience and they will!
So you'd better get crackin on Brock/Patricia or the only thing out there for the next year will be Eddie with morning sickness...
And somewhere, Kasady laughs...

"My POINT is that this underscores how BAD Kasady is- nobody can imagine love in him, even the slashgirls- and they won't do it without the love!"

This is a most excellent point. [But just as an aside, what does it say about our culture that any hint of a sympathetic quality in a man is seen as qualifying him for... uh, slashy experiences? That is sad, IMO. Straight guys -must- be maniacally hostile...? Ouch.] However Kasady is pretty far from sympathetic, and they're not going to delve into his character far enough to FIND any sympathetic qualities, so they'll leave him mostly alone and that is good.

I think he does have sympathetic qualities, but you have to dig for 'em. And you wouldn't get him to *admit to* any by beating him with a crowbar! I need to scan some stuff....

"And I know its not preg in a human sense, but do you imagine that would stop the slashgirls from ascribing preg experiences to this symbiote "gestation?" No, they could build a similarity of symptoms/ subjective experience and they will!

He ain't the only one! ROTFLMAO! Eddie with morning sickness! Oh LOLOLOLOLOL! God save us all. SOMEbody save us, anyways.

Mmm, I don't think the slashgirls see gay as "less" masculine. They're all about masculine; they want to EXPERIENCE it. INTIMATELY. The most insular world of men- man/man love. They want to put on Eddie or Spidey like a set of clothes, a costume, a disguise, and explore this paradigm. It's an objectifying process- as is very clear in Brock/Parker pairings, in which the charactorizations are really wrenched. I think most male readers who encounter slash register this objectification. They reject it, and mistake their discomfort as revulsion for the gay content (which they probably do experience, too).
I tell you, if this happens to Kasady... It would be the attempted subversion of the only undisputed bastion of male egocentric impenetrability*. Yes, that's the slashgirl's desire- to penetrate the man. But, first they objectify... how do you objectify the extreme of self-indulgence and me-first, me-only appetite?
And WHY? Why is objectification necessary, in our culture, before an admirer can feel free to get "intimate" with the desired person? Why are we that unprepared to manage conflict?
Well, objectifying Kasady... I suppose you could start by making him Red's "bus" as Marvel seems to intend...I don't really know, as I haven't read any of the series yet except posted snippets. But this is my impression.
*I'm not saying egocentrism is inherently male; but it IS a celebrated male objective and privilige in our culture. It's beginning to be acclaimed in female figures as well, thanks in no small part to Martha Martha Martha- she ROCKS.
Oh, and I'm not drunk- just manic. Heeeeee!

I HAVE HERE (what i think should be) VENOMS THEME MUSIC

Something takes a part of me.
Something lost and never seen.
Everytime I start to believe,
Something’s raped and taken from me... from me.
Life’s got to always be messing with me. (you wanna see the light)
Can’t they chill and let me be free? (so do I)
Can’t I take away all this pain. (you wanna see the light)
I try to every night, all in vain... in vain.
Sometimes I cannot take this place.
Sometimes it’s my life I can’t taste.
Sometimes I cannot feel my face.
You’ll never see me fall from grace
Something takes a part of me.
You and I were meant to be.
A cheap **** for me to lay
Something takes a part of me.
Feeling like a freak on a leash. (you wanna see the light)
Feeling like I have no release. (so do I)
How many times have I felt diseased? (you wanna see the light)
Nothing in my life is free... is free

Something takes a part of me.
Part of me...
Part of me...
Part of me...
Oh...

AND I HAVE (what i also think should be) SYMBIOTICA'S AND FEVER REDS'S THEME MUSIC (the ultiamte symbiote partners in crime)

Dreamlands of danger
Darkside pleasures
Bad behavior
Dreamlands of danger
Darkside pleasures
At their best
[X2]

Punk rock, shell toes,
Horns and halos.
Wicked white wings and
And pointed tails.
Devil’s eyes and nine inch nails
Nocturnal renegades.
The eternal drug raid.
I go by the name of
Mr. Shifty switchblade.
Getting paid in the shade,
As lyrics ricochet,
Off the walls
From the ceiling to the floor,
Off the door
And down the hall.
I’m evil like Knievel
Kicking white trash.
Psycho cerebral, palsy, ballsy
Bad ass.
Dressed in black,
From the wrong side of the tracks.
Crazy Town.
Yo, we strike like deep impact.

[CHORUS:]
Why can’t you see?
I cannot feel ‘til you bring
Me down.

Dream lands of danger.
Darkside pleasures
Bad behavior.
Dream lands of danger.
Darkside pleasures
At their best.

My subconscience launches me
Into evil territory.
I’m surrounded by Voyeurs
And crack smoking lawyers.
No shame. Burnt lips,
Tripping on acid rain.
Legally insane, deranged,
Some people never change.

[CHORUS]

Nasty na na, ha, ha
Darkside marijuana.
Fueled of the drama.
Drifting on the darkside.
I’m the black eye bomber.
Do what I do on a darkside
Rendezvous.
Raising hell, out the shell.
Of fantasies I never tell.
Dispersin?untamed perversion.
My bad brain’s working,
Circle jerking, rocking riddles,
Sex pistol, sexperts
Acting uncivil.

[CHORUS]

(ANYONE AGREE, DISAGREE TELL ME)
