its in the other thread. Mainstream Marvel Hero Quicksilver can go 175 mph, mostly because he lives in a world with correct physics. im going to assume that's what REX will allow you to have.
Flash from DC has limitless speed, because he taps into the Speed Force and such, note limitLESS. REX wants limits in this game, so you probably wont go, say...600 mph
and PLEASE use PUNCTUATION. a comma for a pause, periods at the ends of sentences...you know, elementary school level stuff.
base your character's powers on Quicksilver NOT flash. Im sure Captain REX can tweak this next bit to perfection
Known superhuman powers: Quicksilver is a mutant who possesses the superhuman capacity to think and move at great speeds. His entire body is adapted towards the rigors of high-speed running. His cardiovascular and respiratory systems are many times more efficient than those of a normal human being. He metabolizes an estimated 95% of the caloric energy content of foodstuffs (normal human use is about 25%). The chemical processes of Quicksilver's musculature are so highly enhanced that his body does not generate fatigue poisons, the normal by-products of locomotion, which force the body to rest. Rather, his body constantly expels waste products during his accelerated respiration through exhalation. His joints are smoother and lubricated more efficiently than those of a normal human being. His tendons have the tensile strength of spring steel. His bones contain unknown materials significantly more durable than calcium to withstand the dynamic shocks of his feet touching the ground at speeds of over 100 miles per hour. Quicksilver's practical reaction time is about five times faster than a normal human's and the speed at which his brain processes information is heightened to a level commensurate with his bodily speed, enabling him to perceive his surroundings while traveling at high velocities. Quicksilver's lachrymose is more viscous than normal, thus preventing rapid evaporation and replenishment of surface fluids on his eyeballs under the influence of high wind velocity to occlude his vision.
Quicksilver has been timed at speeds of up to 175 miles per hour, approximately three times faster than the fastest land animal, the cheetah. He has sufficient energy reserves to enable him to run at this average speed for about four hours, whereupon he must reduce his speed, replenish his body's store of energy, or do both.
Quicksilver has used his powers of acceleration for various feats. He has plucked an arrow out of the air from a standing start, after the arrow left the bow and traveled a distance of about 20 feet. He has dodged machine gun fire, but presumably he was able to see the path of the bullets change as his assailant was attempting to track him with a burst. He has created cyclone-like gusts of wind, which are able to knock a man off his feet, by racing around in a ten-foot diameter circle. With a 500-foot approach to gain momentum, Quicksilver can run approximately 300 feet up the side of a surface with a 90-degree inclination (such as a building) before gravity overtakes him. With a 100-foot approach to gain momentum, he can run across a body of water for approximately 1000 feet before beginning to sink.
NOTE: the wind gust nocked a man off his feet. didnt turn a room upsidedown

OK folks, after reading the first 5 pages of action so far, it's obvious my guy is the least super of the super heroes we have... I know, I suck. I can't walk thru walls or teleport or make anything cool with my mind; all I do is basically blow $hit up and kill bad guys, but I do that so well and only in the name of goodness and justice and all that crap, for God and country, well not for country any more, since I'm not really military any more, that's what makes me a hero... the 'super' part of my guy is all government-issue prototype armor and equipment, so technically, I'm a fake phony super-hero wannabe, not even a REAL super hero freak like most everyone else...
and, actually Thunder's not too keen on even being the super-hero at all; he just wants to help people, and get his hometown back out from under the clutches of super-villainy...
Just thought I'd add on to more of my character history, motivation and ideology for all y'all, before 5 more pages go by. So, in the future, if some one or 2 of you might make a hole for the 'not so super' hero in the group, while he stands outside and tries to make a tactical plan of attack, using his military background training and expertise, that would be swell... I CAN make my own holes and gain access to buildings that way, sure, but we probably don't want to be responsible for blasting holes in civilian buildings if we can avoid it at all right? and especially not when there's a kajillion megaton bomb or 2 on the premises already! It's my characters experience that explosives don't mix well with... well, other explosives...
nice intro to all the various ways of carnage and death, as well as to those few who sidestep all that in favor of hostage rescue stuff, so far so good, Super Hero Insurgent Team! (when we make our own super hero lair, can we call it the S.H.I.T. Hole? maybe not... )
PS: could all the player/character stuff get consolidated and posted on the first page soon, player name, character name, template, and possibly pictures? It's hell trying to recall who is who in the thick of plotting and posting, that's why I didn't post more interactions involving everyone... Blur was always being busted for blowing down the building or what not, so he was easy to remember...
any way, good start! game on!
