Gundark did a double backward flip to escape being crushed under the tremendous crane, igniting her sabre as she landed to Xeth's right. "Stay sharp," she told him. "Don't anticipate Kuylen's moves or you will be mistaken."
The crane has fallen between you guys and Argentis and Kuylen- not an insurmountable barrier, but a barrier nonetheless.
Kuylen pulls his sabre back to his hand a split second before Argentis lands his first blow, which is blocked. Kuylen walks slowly backwards as he withstands Argentis' early barrage.
There is a rolling noise behind you guy. Two droidekas are approaching; the sound of marching battle droids is not far behind.

Yerss, try not to ask for TOO much detail. The door is in the wall and droids are continually marching through it. You have no way of seeing how many are on their way. There are 'several' firing at you and no matter what you do that will soon be 'lots'.

Lance- Rex says "I know that!" irritably, and climbs into the lift, and starts to use his sabres to cut through the roof. He is pathetically defenceless; while no doubt he would predict any attack you make he would be at an enormous disadvanatge. Or you could just leave him now and he is screwed, trapped in the lift by the droids.
-
Meanwhile, Mah... in attempting to follow Faylar, like Gundark asked you to, you tried to use one of the main lifts to follow him, only for the damn thing to breakdown halfway up. You cut your way out and have spent the battle so far slowly climbing up to this level, where you cut through the doors into the area.
In which case, you are where yerssot was not so long ago, an open area where Faylar's men arrived at. All the lifts are out. You can hear the sound of fighting all around.
This level is entirely defined by the towering piles of crates around. This area is open but you can see 'corridors' formed by piles of crates all around. Some piles are taller than others. The very top of the room has cranes and robotic arms hanging from the ceilings. It is very difficult to orientate yourself, and at this point you have no idea which way Faylar and his men would have gone.
You can hear droids appraoching nearby.

Droidekas or Kuylen...not much of a choice here... Gundark thought. She watched as the blast from Xeth's sonic blaster was easily deflected by the droidekas shields. As they began to open up, she Force-flipped over the crane wreckage and yelled to Xeth. "Come on!"
Great, Kellan...out of the frying pan into the fire...
Ok, cranewards... which is awkward, because it is large and broken and jagged and you are under fire, but then it is no good if life is too easy...
From atop the broken crane you can see the duel. Droids and a droideka are at the other side of the crane now as well and firing at both combatants. Kuylen has arranged it so that Argentis is always between him and the droids, who all fire at Argentis. As you watch, Argentis does a brilliant twist-flip over Kuylen;s head to reverse positions. Kuylen does three rapid blows, each of which forces Argentis to twist a little as he blocks, and suddenly the droids are firing at him again. The two of them are getting further away.
Kuylen is holding back on purpose, Gundy. You can tell.

Gundark reached with the Force and plucked a couple of the battle droids up and into the path of the droidekas, which conveniently blew the droids to pieces, as she tried to give Argentis a tiny bit of breathing room. She slashed at a hunk of the crane, trying to dislodge part of it onto the droidekas.....
Kuylen takes a step backwards and does a long, circualr sweep with his sword, which Argentis easily dodges by jumping back, but the top of Kuylen;s slice actually opens up the crate next to Argentis, which starts to disgorge heavy equipment over him. He desperately blocks and leaps out of the way.
Gundy, yo have succeeded in taking the heat off Argentis, in that the droideka is now targetting you.

Yerssot deflects some bolts and forcepushes a few down to give him less bolts to deflect, than he jumps, using the force and while in midair he forcepushes again to knock them down again. When he lands he starts running, scanning with the force to see if a droid is going to fire, so he can do a headjump so the droid can't hit him
well, normally if all the moves are done, I'm now running away from them ready to drop down or deflect any shot comming my way... and I'm still following the wall
Ok, but you need to bear in mind how much trouble you would be in if you help him escape the droids and then he gets away. Imagine if you were a policeman tracking a dangerous criminal, and what the papers would make of it if you helped him escape danger and then failed to catch him.
Remember, you aren't here to make a fair fight of it; you are here to stop him; and if he messes up more fool him.
And climbing a lift shaft together requires a certain amount of trust; I can't see that happening.
BTW, the set-up was actually for you guys to duel whole the battle went on around! I can't force anyone to accept a set-up, of course, but the chances are the battle will be over by the time that you guys climb all the way up the lifts, and as I have tpld Rex, Kuylen will have him killed for fleeing ther battle with hos objective not done.
