"My brother CHris has a broom" she said to Jasmine, let me go get it from him."
She ran up to the library to find her brother.
A few minutes later she returned with his cleensweep, "it's not the greatest broom, just a cleensweep, and it's 2nd hand, but it flies pretty well" she said to jasmine apologetically.
"lets see. about the teams" she said looking around. "THere jasmine, me, sonia, dale, autumn, holly, and ALex. Lets make Dale and Sonia captains, since they are the oldest ones here. we can pick teams. It's alright if they're uneven, they will even out as more people show up. COme on, lets go!" she said, eager to get back to flying, she had missed it a lot over the summer.
Alex smiled. " I don;t care which team I'm on. I play Kepper for my sister during the summer so i'll go to the team that doesn't have one or.... Whatever. I can play chaser too." Alex started to say. " It really doesn't matter me me."
she circled around the group.
"Thanks a lot! I'll be really careful!" Autumn shouted to Li as she walked away. She was little nervous, but very excited. Although she hand't flown much, when she had she had loved it. She looked around nervously as Dale and Sonia were appointed captains. "What if I'm the last one chosen?" she thought to herself as she carefully mounted her broom.
"alright then, lets start." she said " why don't you pick first Sonia?" she wasn't worried about first years playing, there wasn't a rule about that, but she knew they weren't allowed to own their own brooms, taht's why she wasn't able to have one last year. she was happy she was able to own her own broom now, even if it was her brother's old broom, and it was an old model, it flew alright, and that was all that mattered.
"I'm sure he did.
Well, Miss Granger, thank you for your time." Josh winked.
"I will go and join those guys..." He pointed at the quidditch field.
"I'm sure you got to do some things, too - I will soon come to your office soon, maybe on wednesday.... bye sis!"
He hugged Hermione.
Eezy, firstyears aren't allowed to even fly without permission. That's why Harry got in loads of trouble in the first book, and why everyone was amazed he was on the team.
"Sonia... We're waiting." said Dale in a jokey voice.
