It is definitely better than most of her other pictures, I'd say it's her best! Yeah, and those are interesting objects around her. Wonder what was the purpose for the use of those objects in her pics though !?
It only looks good cause they whited out her face. Just being honest here. Otherwise she wouldnt look so great. Her features are still the same, but you only see a shadow of her nose and maybe her mouth. The only thing that is kind of clear are her eyes.

When they put her face up in a funny angle, so she looks OK. Still not pretty, most definitly, but still she looks alright. Usually shes like a 5 out of 10 to me, in that one pic and some others where shes smiling, she looks more like a 6 out of 10.

Guys, this is getting rediculous. Her acting skills are all that we should care about. It doesn't matter if she is pretty. Looks should not be so important. We have no right to critisize how anyone looks. We can merely comment on her acting skills, which we haven't seen yet.

I don't know why you are discriminating her because of her looks or acting skills because you have never seen her act before. And in the first few candids of her, I admit she didn't look the part for Cho Chang, or very attractive either. But if you look at some promotional pictures or real photoshoots, she looks a lot better.
And if you guys were going to throw stuff at her at the theatres if her acting sucks, why don't you throw stuff at Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, ToOm Felton, and basically all of the child actors because they suck at acting also. They have improved, but they're still not really good at it. Plus, Katie has never acted before, so I would just congratulate her for getting the part of Cho out of thousands of other girls because of that. You can't just conclude her acting sucks if she only has a few lines in the movie either, because she wouldn't be given much opportunity to show what's she's got wither, has she?
So, what I'm saying is all your *itching about her looks/acting/whatever else is complete nonsense.

but basically,our stand is,we're not saying her acting sucks,cuz we've not seen her before.and we're reserving judgement on that until after watching her movie.and to tell the truth,i do not think Rupert grint is a bad actor.seriously,that kid's got real potential as a comedian.daniel radcliffe,in all honesty,isn't fantastic,wasn't good in the 1st movie,but he (imho) actually looks the part,and is maturing along with the role,which is rather wroking out both for him and the movies.emma watson,well,i think she's good as a know-it-all,but am yet to see her in other roles,as well as radcliffe,so i'm reserving any complete judgement on both of them.as for tom felton,IMO,he can really pull of the villain well - that snarl and the contempt in his voice!good stuff
so,your statement - aside from the fact that it's absolute generalisation - isn't valid.plus,if you say all child actors suck,you add in macaulay(sp?) culkin,dakota fanning,drew barrymore,shirley temple and many more.
and as for her looks,our stand is that she doesn't fit the part,because,as you know,javing read the books,we tend to form the characters in our heads.how they look,carry themselves,etc.and all we're saying is that we don't think that she fits the bill of our Cho Chang at all.in terms of looks alone.put aside the fact that i don't think she's pretty,and is actually rather ordinary for an Asian.she doesn't (i re-stress, IMO) fit the bill.
So,what i'm saying is,we have as much right to pass judgement as you do (which is hardly any at all - hardly any right i mean) because all we have are her looks,and the fact that she's never acted before and would rather go shopping than audition for the role, which many girls have sacrificed loads for.
