Why is he? Give reasons, fruit, or stay away from judging people, sherbert. Jay-Z is actually one of the smarter rappers who've had some mainstream success, not to mention he released the brilliant classic The Blueprint.
Well, he's shitty because he's just shitty. His songs are boring, typical and full of stupidity, which explains why he's so popular among MTV fans. Plus he makes up wierd little words or sayings for his already shitty songs.
That one song, I don't recall the exact fake word he used in his chorus, but it was real dumb. It was similar to a word that a retarded person would make up, and I'm sure that's not a coincidence.
If he was so smart he would use coherent words in his songs, not dumbass words like "forshizel, or shabanlam or whatever else he uses. If he was smart he'd also realize that letting someone video tape him "rough housing" with a woman is a mistake. Rough Housing with a woman, there's another word for that.....Oh yeah, Domestic abuse.
Heh, I just looked up some of his song titles, and they're filled with real....classy titles, such as....
-Pussy (obviously describing himself)
-Super Ugly (another description of himself)
-Real Niggaz (purposely misspelling a word, god I love when dumbass rappers do that)
-Nigga Please
-Pop 4 Roc (using a number in place of the word "for", another classic example of a dumbass)
-Parking lot Pimpin' - (sounds like a winner)
-Izzo (H.O.V.A.) (here's a made up word, more beautiful art on JayZ's part.)
-Is that Yo ***** (Do I even have to say anything? this one's just stupid)
-Money, Cash, Hoes (yep, some true art right here)
And my own personal favorite...
-Bitches and sisters (wow, how insightful, almost makes me forget why I don't listen to shit rap, oh wait, no it doesn't, it reminds exactly why I don't)
Yeah, all these titles are obviously from a great artist who is very talented. Oh wait, no, they're from an ugly cookie cutter rapper who sings about ho's, bitches, players, and money. Yeah, what a guy.

He's the one following shitty stereotypes like using "nigga, hoe, ***** and playa" constantly in his songs. Don't blame me, it's his own fault for choosing to act like a typical rapper. Okay, I'll admit I didn't think he was a disgraceful human being before I saw the video of him "rough housing" with that woman, I just thought he was a shitty rapper. However, after seeing this "rough housing" or as I like to call it - Domestic abuse- He proves that he is a shitty human being.
I see rough housing between spouces all the time on the show cops. That's the excuse they always use. "Oh yeah, I was just rough housing with her, playing around, you know. No one was hurt" and then the wife comes out with a black eye and a bloddy nose. Yeah, it was all in clean fun. I'm sure this was the case with JayZ. The woman probably commented on how ugly he is and he started PMSing and pushed her face recklessly hard. Then, knowing that if his violent behavior was shown to the public, he denied it and said that he was just fooling around. Then he probably paid her an obsene amount of money to go along with it. Go watch the video, his face was not fooling around, he was pissed off, it was clear as day.
Also, assuming that he was just rough housing with this woman and fooling around by shoving her in the face hard. What does that prove? That he abuses women when he's not even pissed off at them. Wow, good for him. What a guy. I'd hate to see what he does with his poor wife when she upsets him. Probably shoots her with his Tech nine or glock or whatever other guns ghetto rappers use these days too off people who piss them off.
He pushed a woman in teh face, and claimed it was all in fun. Yeah, I'm sure she had a hell of a time getting his nasty hand shoved into her face.

I really doubt that the whole "they were friends and they were playing around" is true. For one, look at the expression on his face... He doesn't look like he's just having some fun with a friend. Also, I think that she could well be a paparazzi, like Hockey pointed out. Either way it was really dumb of him to release a tape of that on a DVD.
