I see. Its yours contribution to Holland economics. But so its not a fair trade between you and them. They are winning with the deal. I cannot see how Advocaat can help Belgium to play better

And with Italy's departure, that is a five-botes team gone. Spain at 3 votes already gone, one way or anoither Germany or Holland are going tomorrow... I think it is only Portugal going through, which was close, that is preventing this being a bookies nightmare.

I think that has to be the least fortunate tournament exit I ever saw. Italy have certainly set a points record for elimination, having not actually lost a game.

yeah, those italians will rather talk about how they got screwed over in it, instead of the iltalians lack of actualy WINNING a game... draws are not important in this game, wins are
Frankly, though, the two better teams of the group have gone through. But to get that last-gasp stuff-of-dreams game winning goal that makes you THINK you have gone through, and then find out that Sweden/Denmark shut you out at the last moment in their own game in turn... that has to destroy hearts. The Italians will conspiracy theory this until the end of time, which objectively is unfair as the Swedes and Danes played very aggressively (though I am sure neither team felt like straining themselves unduly for the last minute of play).
The Italians would actually have been happier to have drawn that game, I think, and lost the Tournament in a less horrific way.
